i'm glad beavis and butt-head is back.

it's cool. does anyone else like beavis and butt-head...i think it's pretty cool. can you comprehend the levels of meta-textual irony i'm embedding into this post. then maybe you'd like beavis and butt-head...it's cool

also i like the idea of an animated comedy set in a modern wasteland where everybody is mostly just bored and then some stuff happens but most of the ones i watch about this AREN'T cool...unlike beavis and butt-head...but I like home movies and sometimes old simpsons and i heard king of the hill is good but i haven't really watched it yet. i think my dream job would be to sit in a kind of rutty flat somewhere 10 floors up and make one of these shows. i want to hit that sweet spot though...i haven't found the sweet spot for an idea yet.

I'm a huge Mike Judge fan so I'm glad that it's back as well. I don't think it's quite the same, as it was a show very much rooted in the '90s, but they understand the characters enough to make it still work. It's a much better revival than MTV's attempt to bring back Celebrity Death Match a few years ago.

These last few episodes have given me one of my new favorite lines from the show. "I think pornography is like... the study of porn."

i wish they would bring back daria instead. i loved that show.

daria was cool when you're like 15 in the late 90's-early 00's but the show really aged badly. i don't think it'd translate well to today, everything would need an update including its themesong, cuz i don't think a sarcastic/jaded uppermiddleclass teen's romp through the post-grunge american suburbia would have any relevance at all now
