My name doesn't mean anything though. I just sort of picked it.

Remember when people wanted Paul Ryan to become a candidate for president and all the Republicans went "nah, he's too young and inexperienced, let him be congressman for a couple more years and then we'll talk"?

It's basically another Sarah Palin, except Paul Ryan is less likely to practically break down crying when being interviewed by Katie Couric.

In other news, looks like John K's kickstarter met its goal. Read through the page just now and the concept looks great.

You guys see this show Adventure Time on cartoon network? It's pretty good. I guess I'm late to the party since they're on season 4 and I've only seen like 8 or 10 episodes from S1 but... they are really good. I can see this as the kind of show that if you grew up watching it it'd have a really positive effect on you. It walks a good line between kid and adult jokes, nothing has been so "kiddy" that it's been hard to watch, and there's been plenty of adult jokes and great songs and things like that.
yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?

yeah it's a great show. some of the episodes are clunkers but most of them are great, any episode with marceline or bmo is automatically good.

and yeah it's a pretty positive show for kids to watch, unlike the new my little pony or johnny test or probably anything they're showing on nickelodeon or disney

edit best episodes afaicr : evicted, henchman, it came from the nightosphere, go with me, video makers, too young, what was missing, thank you

i discovered it a few months ago and have been watching episodes since then, i like it. sometimes it gets a bit too cutesy for me but hey it's a kids' show so big deal, it is funny and i mostly like its attitude. it hits a lot of the right marks that i like especially in animated shows. i'd like to talk about it more but it is late and i'm falling asleep so maybe tomorrow.

I've seen an episode of that, I have some taped on the ol' Skybox.

Like it seemed like a modern cartoon I'd actually enjoy maybe, wtf!

I saw part of the first gravity falls, it had nice bg art. I think regular show is supposed to appeal to an older crowd too, since mordecai and rigby are supposed to be 23 I think and it makes a lot of references to the 90s

gumball is also good. a little more for kids but another positive show for them to watch

also been waiting to post this http://youtu.be/HNackwTfNlw

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/07/paul-ryan-wisconsin-protester-handcuffed_n_952818.html

"I have a broken clavicle from a car accident I had about four weeks ago, and it's in the process of healing, but it's not done yet. So I was protecting that. I said, 'Don't hurt me! I have a broken shoulder here and collarbone.' They didn't pay attention to that. They put the cuffs on really, really tightly."
[...]
After Nielsen was removed from the event, Ryan tried to make light of the situation, saying, "I hope he's taking his blood pressure medication."

ha ha ha ha good one paul ryan I get it he's old
