guys I'm making a website for hosting ludum dare like competitions. Could we host it on there? I need people to test it. I haven't released the site yet but I think I can get it ready for this if you want to do it

Yeah, I can team up with you. I can do art well enough, and can probably do some rudimentary sfx based on what the game warrants. Depending on the language and/or engine you like to use, I could possibly help with some of the programming stuff also.

I hesitated to ask directly because I am also hazy on whether or not to actually participate myself. At least this way, you can have a partner that won't hold it against you if it turns out you do need to flake, and we can most likely both flake at once.

I pretty much always go with XNA in C#, or python using pygame, since those are the only two frameworks I really know.

nah, it would just be a place to hold the entries. And saltw would be the only people on it. You just create a competition page called "SALT WORLD GAME JAM #3", set the duration of it. Then people can submit their entry from there, and they can upload screenshot and provide a link to download. All the results are collected and you can browse through the list with screenshots and links. The people who entered can also rate the results, but it's optional. You would still use this forum to discuss and manage things.

anyway I'm looking for people to test it so this would be great!
