So this is my webcomic guys!

The Chronicles of Paliax is about a Golem called Paliax (he's that chill looking dude shooting laser magic out of his gloves like some sweet motherfuckin' gunslinger).

He's searching for his backstory, his chapter zero. Technically he's an amnesiac, but it's been a few years on since he woke up so I'm not really focusing on the amnesia as in the story.

He's been asked to find a lost amulet by a local barman. Little does he realise that this errand will lead him on the defining journey of his existence.

There are very minor RPG/DnD references, mostly in little jokes but otherwise it's a reasonably serious/wacky story. But anyway, please take a look, I'd love to get some new readers who enjoy it. So if you enjoy it, share it around. Tweet it, Facebook it, whatever. Just tell some people if you like it. Thanks guys. Also, post in this thread and tell me what you think!

I'll check it out. I like the art style! The concept seems pretty interesting, though my experience with DnD3rd/4th or Pathfinder is relatively minor (I've only played about 5 games or so total of those systems and I did not really enjoy it, I prefer other non-fantasy exclusive systems).

Hey, I'm glad you like the style!

I wouldn't worry about DnD knowledge, it's very very bare references and you could probably attribute the references to being from pretty much any RPG.

Is it? The text is pretty big on my screen. What size/res is your monitor?

I caught up, As I said, I like the art style, especially the coloring in the more vibrant frames. The part where he sliced through the wight was pretty cool looking.

Story is to early in the making to make a judgement call (though like I said the idea is interesting and I liked the 'world building' section) but sometimes the dialogue/narration is moderately difficult to follow, this might be because I'm American.

In any case, keep it up, I'll be following along.

Hey, thanks man. I'm glad you like the style!

I'll take what you said about the dialogue/narration to heart, see if I can make it easier to follow. Thanks for the advice!

Rereading some pages, I guess I take it back its not hard to follow. (or at least the 7 or so pages I looked at again aren't)

I guess its more of a rambley nature of the main character as he talks to himself. But thinking about that, it sort of makes sense anyway.

Oh. Hmm. Interesting. Which pages were they, out of interest? I know the first few pages are a bit weird.

Mostly while hes exploring the first cave, killing the skellies and bandits. I suppose it was also probably necessary since he was the only character at the time (for him to talk to himself). The fact that he has some travel buddies now makes it a non-issue really. Just take note if he is ever traveling alone again.

Also, I like to write, so I'm a bit of a nitpicker mentally. I'll be the first to admit my own dialogue skills are not great though so I'm wary of giving advice on it.

Thought it might have been the first cave. Thanks for the insight, I plan on doing some extra work to it later on to see if I can make it easier to understand. Thanks! And keep reading! Some even cooler stuff will be happening down the line.

I pretty much do everything in Photoshop CS6 (though the version number doesn't really matter, you could do this all the way back to way earlier Photoshop versions) with a Wacom Tablet.
