I hate when people add onions or mustard to macaroni and cheese.

I WANTED MAC & CHEESE NOT MAC & CHEESE & MUSTARD & ONIONS!

what? mixed in.

how/why would you dip mac and cheese in something? it's not a dippable food! it's like soup or cous cous.

i dip it in ketchup sometimes, & onions are just a normal sauce addition

you lightly submerge the bottom of the fork/spoon

Cold mac and cheese is totally dippable. Also real baked m&c will solidify enough after cooling for a bit that it's dippable. But also I'm imagining more using a fork to dip a chunk in, rather than having a "mac and cheese bar" that you dip like a french fry.

I mean it's non-dippable like soup or cous cous is non dippable (you can but you shouldn't).

I'm ok with macaroni and cheese variations as long as it's not called macaroni and cheese. fancy restaurants (you know, the fancy types that sell mac and cheese) like to add all these other stupid ingredients.

i add mustard and onions and tomatoes and spring onions and sprinkle fried onions and all kinds of things on macaroni and cheese. it's pretty bland otherwise. sometimes even some spicy pepper sauce.

NO! No! That's just a pasta bake or something. That's ok! But if someone offers me macaroni and cheese and it's got tomatoes and beef with it I'm going to throw it in their eyes

I made my first batch of pickles ever today but I did not sterilize the container, I just hand-washed it. will be monitoring their pickling over the next few weeks making sure they don't grow mold.

nakládaný hermelín, tyros eis halmen, all the other ones are pretty much just quick marinades or plain brines. basically all those soft white salty cheeses from the mediterranean are brined, also.

pickling update: it'd something like 2 weeks later and I popped open my pickles. they're already the best pickles I've had and I didn't even use fresh dill or the right pickling salt (used Morton's Iodized, but the pickles are still crunchy and not really discolored). I did use chili flakes and garlic cloves. also using this post to put esiann on botulism watch bc I don't know if I used enough vinegar.

gonna try green beans and cauliflower next.

if we're talkin' about just leaving food on the counter (and not also putting it in a jar of liquids and whatnot) then let me recommend marshmallows. leave the big puffy marshmallows out and exposed to the air and they become all stale and light like ping pong balls, and i think they are delicious that way
semper games.
