it was made for a competition, and the stipulation was it had to be silent so that's why the little dialogue there is gets subtitled. i think it turned out pretty well! i didn't get everything i wanted exactly, but if this stinks it is like 90% my fault so I hOPE YOU liKe Iiiiiiitttt

my first thought: you look like you've lost weight! and you just generally look pretty good! so..... keep it up!! :)

anyway, haha, nice video :D i really like the tone of this! it was... intense. the idea of an ~escalating prank war~ has been done before, but the execution of it in this was interesting and unique. it was like a deconstruction of the concept... and the rather slow progression actually had the unexpected effect of really drawing me in. my favorite moments: your solemn nod (after your friend falls (due to you pulling the chair away)), your face after being in the closet for 24 hours, the friend shaking hands with his ladyfriend when they go to bed, the subtitle "(screaming)", and your face at the end. question: was all the music created by you? it was all good stuff.

Yeah this is cool man, hell you should make a topic everytime you create a new video so we can discuss them.

I enjoyed the solemn yet comedic feeling of the whole thing.

This is v cool. I'll concur the shake hands part is a stroke of genius, it's my fav scene.  The soundtrack really plays on creating an entirely different mood to the video than if the speaking was heard, it really distorts the feeling of it; it's an interesting concept!! Also was the movie posters in rooms intentional or just how the rooms are decorated normally?? I kind of like them as background props for some reason.  Keep it up, vids rule!!

the movie posters were just the things my pals had up in their flat. i think it sounds kind of offensive to say that it made some kind of sense that these people would decorate their homes in this way, but basically i thought there was no no need to cover that up! i'm glad you liked it, bin. i've got better things in store but i do like this.

was all the music created by you?

just the intro/ending theme. the other songs are from the video games shining force 2 (graveyard) resident evil 3 (pranks) and killer7 (mugging). i'm going to re-edit this later with entirely my own music so i can feel good about saying i put my stamp on this, but this is what it is for now.  i'm glad it is still good!
