The sheer definition of Genjutsu implies control over the mind. If you are claiming Sasuke can't control minds with genjutsu, then you might as well be saying Sasuke cannot use genjutsu at all.

Mind control can mean more than one thing n00b.

He can trap their mind and torture them mentally, not change or control it. He can't make everyone agree with him and let him do whatever he wants, like a Jedi can.

Inflicting trauma is very much enough to change a mind. You cannot attack a guy like Goku physically and ever win, because that is exactly what guys like Goku thrive on. But if you torture him psychologically, you sure as hell are going to change his mental state enough to take the fight right out of him. That is clearly changing someone's mind, no point in arguing what is obvious.

I did not say he could do whatever he wants or force people to think a CERTAIN way, all I said was that he can literally change someone's mind. I am done arguing this.

Except that doesn't work on everyone. It's amusing that you name Goku, because he's very similar to Naruto. And Naruto has so far never lost his mind while in a genjutsu. Freak out? Sure. But crushing someone's mind does require a skill like Itachi's Tsukuyomi. A regular genjutsu is not gonna do that.

Actually yeah, after saying that. I sort of thought about using basic genjutsu on goku would wind up being the equivalent to that gif vellfire posted of scraggy.

Speaking of which, prod absolutely needs to be a legitimate canon pokemon move. I dare someone to try and argue this with me.

It would pretty much be identical to Swagger. There would be no point.

EDIT: unless it was something like, raises the target's attack, and taunts them.
For casual play, it would be near useless.
It would never be allowed to see competitive play.

I was thinking more along raising the opponent's attack, while also lowering accuracy (Is there an attack that already does this? Am I thinking about swagger?). Or if the attack is already above normal, it lowers both accuracy AND evasion.

There will never be too many pokemon moves. NEVER I SAY!

because everytime you win an argument you gain bonus ip which can be used to by new upgrades or perhaps even unlock new ones giving you a better chance at winning future arguments geez it's like you don't even want to beat zezima
