Does anyone know what chapter in the manga the show is currently covering? I want to start reading from that point using those youtube video macubex showed us.

264... or something, can't be passed 270. I'm basing this from memory and last weeks episode as I never watch this weeks ep.

I don't think that guy I mentioned above starts that low, I think he started doing it around 285, and his work got much better around 290.

Good luck though, there should be other people who do the manga+music on youtube if you look around.

So I thought 162 was pretty damn fantastic! Beautiful animation for the Ichigo vs Ulqiorra fight, even though it was short. The way it should've been! Still, I am a massive fan of Ulqiorra and pretty much die every time they come on screen, so. :3 The second half was nice, to, Ishida's creepy little smile at the end rocked.

The manga was pretty great, too, what with Nnoitra finally being defeated after this battle having been stretched over, like, four-five chapters. I was getting a bit sick of it, seeming as I'm not exactly a fan of Kenpachi.

the chapter before when he was like "i didnt think i'd ever have to do this........................" I was so hoping he was talking about releasing his sword...that woulda been sick..

For those who want to know when the second bleach movie'll be subbed...

It'll be about 4 or 5 days after the Japanese release of the DVD. Dattebayo is the only
subgroup subbing Bleach (and it's movies) and they refuse to sub anything below dvd
quality.

I have to catch up with the episodes. I've only been reading the manga, and it sounds
like the battles are catching up to where it gets good ^^

And yeah, man, we're getting into the best part of the Hueco Mundo arc.

Unless something awesome comes after this current stretch in the manga, which I REALLY CAN'T SEE HAPPENING, but I could be surprised. :O

So I was checking http://randomc.animeblogger.net/ for some news and found this:

I just like that things are finally starting to move in the manga and that terrible Nnoitra-Kenpachi mindless slashing festival is over with...

Looks like we'll get to see a lot of characters go all out who haven't before, mainly Urahara, Isshin, Kyoraku, Ukitake and (hopefully) old man Yama

Hoh shit hoh shit, I basically died reading the manga today. Barragan is the old dude's name? Kinda awesome we get to know it now, and it's a cool name too. Plus we get to see an awesome Ulqiorra vs Ichigo fight again soon, I'm betting. The manga's doing a great job of leading up to things at the moment, I can't wait until we actually get into it.

It is getting interesting again now all the fodder Espada are done away with yes. However the Ulq-Ichigo fight is a both predictable and ridiculous in some ways. Like how he fights evenly with Grimm the #6, and will now somehow be able to take down Ulq despite being stomped by him a few hours previously. Unless he has some sort of epiphany like he did against Kenpachi back in SS theres no way he can logically beat base Ulquiorra let alone released.

The upcoming Karakura battles will be more interesting, notice how theres six invaders and six captains as well, which will probably mean 6 one on ones. And the fraccion and VC's will probably fight as well.

My guesses for matchups are:

Yama vs Aizen
Shunsui vs Stark
Ukitake vs Barragan
Soifon vs Halibel
Hitsugaya vs Gin
Komamura vs Tousen

I would then go on to guess that SS will lose overall and Urahara and Isshin will arrive to save/evacuate them.

Bleach is starting to get back on track! HUZZAH! These lastfew chapter have been great. They have that epic feel to them.

Also, the Youtube video of this chapter was...=O It just seems MUCH better when accompanied by music and the like.

It is getting more interesting. Hueco Mundo arc works a lot more in the anime due to the pacing. I still don't think Ichigo is going to win against Ulquiorra. Maybe the Vizards will come and help?

Especially seeing as he only has one (with different variatons). He really needs to evolve seeing as his mask keeps breaking. The only development he's had in this arc was that he realised that he actually fights because he enjoys it.
