In my opinion, there is not enough comic book talk on this forum.  This topic will help you comic-impaired to obtain large amounts of comic books at no cost (this is totally immoral).

Huh?  Download Comic Books?
Yes!  Using the magic on the Internet, one can download many things, including scans of comic books, whether they are old or new, DC, Marvel, or Indy!

What Will I Need to Download These Comic Books?
Most downloads will be in BitTorrent form,  If you do not all ready have a BitTorrent client, I recommend uTorrent.

How Do I View These Comic Books?
All comics you download will either be .CBR or .CBZ files.  To view these files, you should use the program CDisplay.  CDisplay is really neat program with a ton of features to make reading comics comfortable for you.  It's also great at viewing manga!
However, CDisplay is not actually necessary.  CBR and CBZ files are just renamed RAR and ZIP files.  You can extract the images from the CBR or CBZ file by simply opening them using WinRAR (or similar program) or by renaming them to be .rar or .zip files.

Where Do I Download Comic Books?
BitTorrent Sites Dedicated to Comics:
ZCult Tracker B - Official DCP Tracker (read below)
ZCult Tracker N
ZCult Tracker X

You can also find comic books at more general BitTorrent sites, such as:
ISOHunt
Demonoid
And many others.

You can also find RapidShare (and such) downloads here:
RapidSearch /co/ - This is an archive of all the RapidShares posted on 4Chan's Comics and Cartoons board.  This is not a very reliable way to get comics, but sometimes you can find a gem.

What is DCP?
DCP is a group that scans the new comic book releases every week and puts them up for download.  If you're following a series as it's being released, this is where to find the newest issue.

That's really all you need to know!  Get out there and start downloading like a mad man!  Don't forget to support the industry and buy comics you like!
If anything in this post is unclear, or if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask me.

Ugh, I am against Downloading comic books, the industry is failing enough as it is, and people are downloading whole runs.
There's free comic book day soon, where most companies will have something cool on offer, your best bet is to pick them up and then follow what you like. It isn't just a small scale thing, it's like almost every comic shop in the world which does this.
But if you do get to downloading comic books regularly... buy them.
Also comics tend to look really gay on PC screens.

I guess back issues are more ok though.

You should try Annihilation, Marvel's recent cosmic crossover consisting of a series of miniseries.  Be sure to read the comics in the proper order, which should be Thanos 1-12 (optional), Drax the Destroyer 1-4, Annihilation Prologue, the four other four issue minis (Nova, Ronan, Silver Surfer, and Super Skrull in whatever order you feel like), then finally Annihilation 1-6.  There is also a book in there called Nova Corps Files which includes profiles on a lot of characters and alien races, but it might include spoilers for stuff that happens before the final Annihilation mini.

This is rather handy. I don't buy single issues. I go for the TPBs. And I get those TPBs from online stores, so I can't exactly check them out first.

How exactly do you download from that site? Not asking about bittorrent either, i'm quite familiar with torrent sites, but, when i go to the comic section(tracker b btw)and see the release, there's no d/l link. I try clicking on the comics cover and it takes me right back to the collection page of that series.(for instance, i clicked on spawn, saw the spawn collection, clicked on a comic's cover, took me to the page where i assumed i would be able to d/l it, and there were reviews, etc. but no d/l link, so i clicked on the cover on that page, takes me back to the other page I was on)where's the d/l link to d/l the comic?
