yeah mostly filler animation sucks, but there were a few episodes of good quality, but if you want really good quality animation, watch the Rock Lee Vs Gara fight, and possibly the one between naruto and saske still i don't see why they can't do something with the fillers, if it were me I'd go into an aspect that you wouldn't have thought of in a filler, maybe take Naruto and co to an unknown place and such, maybe a war torn place? i don't know but something.

I think they could've introduced a filler-only main character or something from near the begining to befriend Naruto. Kinda like Menma but alot earlier on, and have it so that he only "rememberes" near the end of the fillers, so then his death meant something. (Talking about Menma... Naruto got over his death pretty fast!). I can understand why a large arc couldn't have been done (didn't know how long they had to do them for) but if they did such a thing and it never got resolved before Naruto2, it could have given a nice cliffhanger which would be revealed in later spoilers.
Also a badguy who couldn't be defeated within a 3 episode arc would have made sense and made things interesting! I mean it was a chance to create the anime into it's own existence and give it it's own identity as opposed to being a clone of the manga with nothing new added to it. Instead they went the way of 3 episode arcs were nothing effectively happened, and it was like 60 episodes into them that they started getting any good :/

In some series', the fillers can be amoung the best episodes as they provide a chance to look into the characters, or put them in a totally different situation, or reveal that there is more to life than the main plot.

Fillers should be mini-arcs within themselves..and not kill of characters that could have a small place in the overall story..whatever happened to that guy with two voices? god dam.

Well...  hopefully the show will hold my interest that long...

Raiga was a twat, enough of that though. Finally they get back to the manga this week, i hope the first episodes isn't a boring one though, but i doubt it, still i can hope.

The song was terrible, but I'm still really excited for this episode. I've only had to wait a few months for this, so I can't imagine being you guys and waiting for like over a year or so.

The fillers are just GOD AWFUL. Honestly.

naruto looks awesome and so does shikamaru and that kid (konohomaru or something or other). sakura doesnt look any different and kakashi doesnt either. I hope every character gets an "upgrade" on their clothing style and appearence.

And wow, 85 episodes of fillers? That's a little too much to handle.
