The double episode was decent, I suppose. The first episode had pretty shitty animation and had some filler too but I enjoyed parts of it. The second episode had better animation and was generally more interesting. Anyway, average stuff, as expected.

If the worst episodes had the quality of episode 37, I think I would be satisfied with that. Just drop that shit team which animates episodes like 36 already, please.

I grew up on DBZ and Bananaman, so any graphics that are better are a definite bonus - hence I don't see what the major beef is wiht Naruto's graphics. There are perhaps one or two episodes that really made me wince, but the rest are great. I just wish they'd catch up with the manga already.

Wishful thinking, I know. In some ways I want it to get to the end, in others I don't.

As to the newset episode, I liked it. It could have done without the flashbacks - but I always say that. I like the filler-ish character-building parts. It can't all be action and there are other sides to the story. As long as they don't do the old filleroonie that they pulled during the last season?/series? then I'm happy.

The flashbacks are bearable , however they get repetitive. I dont really car too much about the animation, because there wasn't anything that suck out badly.

This episode was very weird. It looked like all the animation teams had joined up (which made the simulation look pretty cool). Thankfully, we're moving at a faster pace than the last arc which is a good sign. Next episode looks great!

I think the animation was (again) pretty bad and despite being slow, this episode actually covered about a chapter and half. It was a decent episode, nothing too horrible but not good either. And yeah, next week's episode looks great (same animation team which did 35?) and after next week we are getting a double episode I think. Let's hope the next 2-3 weeks of episodes are done well, because we are getting to one of the best parts of Shippuuden!

Wow can't believe I never noticed this topic before.

I guess I'll give my opinion, this was one of the episodes that gave me the Naruto feeling again. When Naruto, Sai, and Sakura were arguing about Sasuke, that was just amazing. Sai is an asshole and the meeting on the bridge will probably be covered in 2 episodes. Manga readers should know that episode shall be legendary.

I don't know I got a very DBZ feel to it. Very little fighting and more "ARRGGG! POWER UP!"

I stop watching naruto, at least the anime. I remeber this part from the manga of course, wanted to see it in action though. Since I already knew what was coming... I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't much fighting at all.

Oh well, I guess I'll just wait. I knew they were going to do that because of how slow the pace was. The animation was nice at least (that one was for you DS).

Ep 40 was the slowest episode yet. It felt a lot like DBZ. 41 was great thanks to the animation and especially the end. The next episode looks beautiful.

Yeah, 40 was way too slow, I suppose it was okay because it still had some cool stuff but what was covered in ep40 should had taken 5-10 mins max. The animation was decent, I wish it was better but it wasn't bad or anything. 41 was borderline great though, even though it was kinda slow too (it covered two chapters though), the direction was very good and the filler scenes worked well. Plus miniature kyuubi was very well done, much better than I thought it would actually. Naruto owning Kabuto and the bridge falling apart rocked as well.

So yeah, 40 was okay and 41 was great. I hope 42 will cover three chapters but I have a feeling it will only cover two.

I think Im pretty much done with this series myself. When they spend like 10 minutes last week having two guys walking to the damn bridge, I pretty much minimized and browsed forums until I heard talking. Ridiculous.

Man, I was kind of hyped up for this week's manga but wasn't to great. It looked a bit better then usual though.

Most of the time I'm just estimating but sometimes I have checked it.
