Obviously so but that doesn't mean they can't catch up again. They definitely could afford a faster pace since the manga is almost 100 chapters ahead. They could have the same pace which they had in part 1 and it would take almost two years to catch up.

I'd prefer they make one episode every 2 weeks and make the pacing and quality better. Damn business making that un-viable!

I watched the first ep of the double feature. I am doubting whether I should be bothered to watch the next part, since well it's not like I'll miss much.

Its actually half way decent, i enjoyed the 2nd more then the 1st at least. The fight gets pretty fast paced and i for one thought it was played out well enough.

Maaaaaaan, fuuuuuuuuuuuuck, finish the fucking fight already. Jesus Christ. And did anyone else catch the 9 million frames of recycled/repeated animation? This was a HORRIBLE episode (only good thing was the trailers in the OPs and EDs)

This episode was better than I expected. The turn offs would have to be the repeated animation, the zoomed out fights, the way how Kakashi jumped from one log to another and the drawings. Seriously, Sakura looked so ugly in this episode.

Oh my god. This week's episode was so horrible I don't know what to say. It got better near the end but christ, it was so awful.

It can't be that hard to make a good series when the manga is so good.

I wish I had the stamina to stop watching Naruto, but I really want to know what happens, and the faint hope of ever seeing that great animation return is too much. But man, why can't the whole world at once just think the same and go "shit no, I'm turning this off until they release some sort of apology and burn the current animators in a sacrifical pyre" or something to the effect.

I have never witnessed a worse case of blatant time wasting than the Gai scenes in this episode, not even the Italian football team at 1-0 up in the second half could do better.

Making money is all very well but it will bite them in the ass as there is only so much of this even the most hardcore fans can take....

I already gave up on this show once the first ep. of shipuuden came out. I mean I thought it would be at least decent since it's the main series now but I was wrong. Frankly I choose to stick with the manga, and I'm glad I did after seeing that recent episode. They need to stop outsourcing the show to koreans to animate them. This is just ridiculous.

Why but the Manga is only like roughly at least 50 episodes ahead of the anime surely they could catch up!!!

Especially since this week was like the third week this year the manga had a break, whilst the anime seems to have a break like every 4 - 5 weeks or so.
