I think that rumor about them brining back most of the old character is correct.

I hope (and think) that they will bring back Ganondorf. But instead of him being slow, they should actually make him somewhat fast. After all, he hasn't been "slow" since Ocarina of Time. In Wind Waker and Twilight Princess we have seen a large man with quick reflexes and speed - they should seriously take this into consideration.

If they DO bring back Ganondorf (I hope they will cause he's got potential to be awesome), he better not be a more-or-less copy of Captain Falcon. That was one big problem I had with Melee... They should definitely either drastically change or get rid of Falco, Ganondorf, Young Link, Pichu, Dr. Mario, and Roy/Marth. I mean, most of them are carbon copies except a few slight differences like blaster strength, speed, slight differences in damage and attacks, etc. I think they should keep Falco or replace him with Wolf or something, because they need another character from the Star Fox series (also Metroid), but... Seriously. This better not be the case in Brawl. I remember I loved the original because everyone was completely different and original.

I agree completely with both Cheesy Doritos and Liman. Ganondorf should definitely get an overhaul - there's just no excuse. We've seen 2 games since Melee which show off what Ganondorf is like in combat (I'm surprised none of his Ocarina moves showed up in Melee actually). Pichu should either be replaced with Raichu or made better, because he absolutely sucks - he's probably the least played character next to G&W. Dr. Mario... well, I'd actually prefer if they left him out of Brawl. There's not much else they can really do to him besides a clone so yeah. Falco is decent, but he should be better differentiated. Young Link should be removed or replaced with a realistic version of WW Link.

Also I hope they use Ganondorf's sword this time, it'd be much better!

this update is nice it about Footstool jumps like Mario shit and it like and extra jump and can be done in mid air sending your enemy downwards.

It reminds me of Mr. Blocko, how you can jump on other people. I know there'll be a couple dicks who will just keep jumping on you... Someone's losing a friendship over this!

They've ruined Fox (and Falco I guess)! One of the reasons they are top tire is because they can "shine" enemies once they've been flown away from the map with their down+B move and instantly jump back to safety. Now every character can essentially do this by footstool jumping.

Oh well, all for the sake of balance I guess.

Christophomicus, you must realise that they are going to have to do more than 80 more updates. If they give away all the cool stuff right away you'll in for a lot of disappointment after that.

Also, they have done about 45 updates of which 3 have been assist trophy characters. That's not such a bad ratio, don't you think?

I suppose that's true, yeah, it just seemed like a lot more. I dunno, I guess it would just be nice if we saw something HOLY SHIT worthy, like, we've seen a bunch of stuff that's "ooh" and some "gr8", but nothing that's really been like YEAH BABY.

Anyway, I agree that Ganondorf should be included, in either his Ocarina form or his Twilight Princess form. Also, about that YEAH BABY and HOLY SHIT worthy thing that Christophomicus mentioned...I have something in mind which would make me say that...yeah...
