yeah same here. in melee, i was never really anyone specific besides like kirby but hes not very good obviously. eventually i started maining as fox, and i was thinking id be him in brawl too, but man... meta knight seems pretty awesome. (and fox looks all cutesy-fied in brawl D: ) pit seems pretty cool too, but he reminds me too much of link and i never liked link that much. still... man brawl is going to ROCK.

oh and another character i will definitely play as is POKEMON TRAINER. what an awesome idea for a smash character, heh.

Well, considering they only showed 2 out of each Pokemon's 3 special moves, it's possible! Although Squirtle will probably be Bubble Blast or whatever, Ivysaur will have Razor Leaf, and Charizard will have Fly I guess.

mkkmypet, I had the first same reaction to Pit, also. Although now that I watch him, he looks pretty different. His bow has a lot more emphasis and his sword attacks look faster, so stuff like that is pretty big.

All "main" refers to is the character you like to use the most or are best with. Unless you play with everyone the exact same amount, you are going to have a main or a few mains.

I like the Pokemon Trainer update. Very cool looking moves. I wonder if Ivysaur's bullets come down after being fired or if they just disappear. Waterfall looks like it could be very powerful.

haha, charizard smashes a rock for his side b? xD does he just materialize rocks out of nowhere? hmm... *is looking forward to playing as pokemon trainer*
hmm, i wonder if squirtle's waterfall move will actually be an effective recovery... i guess so. hey, you can't switch pokemon in mid-air, can you?
i'm also thinking i might like playing as Ike, because he is a heavy character, but he also has a sword and doesn't appear to be too slow. so he's like... Ganondorf with a sword. ooooh...

i'll probably main as Fox, Meta Knight, and Pokemon Trainer when Brawl comes out. but hey, they'll probably surprise us again between now and December 3rd, so i cant be sure who i'll play as! :3

Gliding certainly helps Ridley out, he's almost certainly going to be in the game (probably as a boss) I just hope he's playable. Still I guess we already knew about gliding from the very first trailer as Meta Knight did it.

I'm not sure how much i'll be using that much, as it seems like what Peach could do except you can't change directions but you can move your nose I guess. Seems useful in some situations, like recoveries and such. Unless you can attack while gliding, I guess.

There's been a lot of focus on moves this week, still there are a lot of new ways to recover this time around and aerial combat is improved.

Wow. I never thought about that.

I...I guess you can really not have a main. I guess your best character could be considered your main though.

Jack of all trades, master of...uh...unpredictable choices?

Maybe using Random is alright, especially for special tournaments or just when you're bored with choosing.

BTW, WarioWare update looks manic, although personally, I think Brawl should at least have a STABLE stage(besides Smashville and maybe Battlefield, since the platforms won't change anyways).

Agreed. Everything they've shown so far is pretty crazy. I mean that's cool and all, but for regular fights and for tournaments, it'd be good to have some more "normal" stages. They probably won't announce the really crazy or really normal stages though; those'll be saved for the release.

WarioWare looks pretty rad. I liked the game a lot, so this sounds like a cool kind of stage. Hope there are more than just dodging "games" in it.

Yeah considering Melee had 29 stages & so far they've only confirmed 10 in Brawl (13 if you count the Pokemon Arena, Mario Kart Race Track & Metal Gear stage in the 2nd trailer) I'll say that there's probably still alot of stages under wraps.
