Man, I think NP is just trolling now. Even if (and that's a big if) everything he said in that post was true, Sonic'd STILL have enough moves for a Smash character.

And punches and kicks .. not.. legitimate fighting moves? Come the fuck on. And.. you really can't imagine Super Sonic being a Smash? Jesus fucking Christ, I'm nearly demodding you RIGHT NOW for just being completely stupid.

It would be cool if they threw Sonic in Brawlers just as a joke and made him an extremely weak Mario knockoff (Ryu and Ken?).

Wait...were you implying that Ken is a weaker version of Ryu?

If they throw Sonic into the roster, I'll play as him regardless of how weak he is. I'll practice until I can take out top tiers. He'd just be way too cool. Probably like a faster version of Fox.

A Sonic level with 360 loops that Sonic could actually use in his attacks would be cool.  Especially since Jigglypuff or Yoshi (in his egg roll) could use them too.  Other characters would only be able to climb them until it got too steep.  I could see this working.

That's pretty bad actually! A level that only 3 characters could do well on? The stages are supposed to be fair to everyone. I always set the stage selection to 'Random,' and I only out of those three would pretty much ever use Jigglypuff, so... No.

Oh, come on.  Until someone makes me the game designer for Brawl, that's as much thought as I'm going to put into the idea.  I'm just here to toss out vague ideas at random, it's up to Sakurai to make them work effectively. :rite:

ahmmm ice climbers... i guess that's good that they're back. they're pretty good if you know how to use them, so i'm sure some people will use them in brawl. i was pretty sure ice climbers were going to be gone in brawl though! this is unexpected...

the list of composers gave me a raging hard-on. nobuo's new main theme is brilliant. also omg at the ocarina of time medley with naruke arranging. it's link in filgaia, no shit.

i'm just hoping they slow this game down a tad. a speed akin to the original would be much more desirable.
