Therefore you do not exist.
It depends on the games. Some games require very specific settings to function properly (for example FF7, FF8) which will cause other games to function strangely.

I know. Some need specific hacks. Some work with certain plugins better. Hell... some require very specific versions of ePSXe. Etc. But it doesn't take that long to change them.  It's no hassle at all.

I think you can get a frontend replacement for ePSXe if it annoys you. I didn't really have too many problems with it.

Also, VGS sucks, I agree. I used it before I knew about ePSXe. It gave me trouble with quite a few games.
