I read that Zangief is HORRIBLY broken and will be like "ultra tier" if he is not fixed. It was on those Shoryuken Forums or whatever. At least two guys who have actually physically played this said that he is a fucking beast who is fast, cheap, and unstoppable - even the good players with awesome characters "barely" beat Zangief players, who were apologizing for winning.

In all practicality, I'm excited for this game because of the nostalgia it brings back. Besides that, it IS dubbed number 4, so I doubt it is just a very rigorous graphics update. I'm not too afraid of this game being stale since it has been FOREVER since Capcom has released a true sequel and Capcom already knows what happens when they disappoint. Also, the Street Fighter 2 HD Remix is already being developed so... that kinda makes Street Fighter II Hyper Ultra Omega obsolete already.

I'm glad they kept the Claw = blond in concept art, but reddish brown hair in-game deal from SF2. That's a really nice touch.

Yeah I was just going to edit my post to say that his SF2 hair colour is also great.

Holy shit, this game looks fun as hell to play. Anyone know what that attack Sagat keeps doing is, where he charges and then does like, and ink slash? Also, am I seeing parries?

Also, unlike SF3 I think the new characters are awesome. El Fuerte is badass, C.Viper is strange but neat, that fatso guy looks fun as hell, Abel is... whatever, but anyway I hope the rest of the new chars are as cool as this. If there are any more that is.

You know 2, 3, 4. 4 ought to be more original than 3, not just rehash everything we've already seen 15 years ago. And I hate to beat a dead horse but Bison fucking died at the end of SF2 by Akuma. He's dead. His soul was vaporized. There is no coming back from that no matter what stupid fucking explanation they come up with. Seriously.

You care too much about stories in a fighting game where the only hint of a story is at the start and at the end and no real in between, it's called retcons. Capcom does them all the time.

EDIT:
I would like to point out that Bison stands up after some endings and isn't dead, it is most likely a game play thing, and what might happen is a retcon to where Akuma kills Bison in SF4 instead. "officially".

That doesn't mean the story is any good. If you want story, go read a book or play an RPG... and hope to god it's a GOOD one.
