i wanted to make a top 50 albums you probably haven't heard topic with The Fall, Fela Kuti, Angels of Light, and Big Pun in it but then i lost my zoo!

I'm almost certain your Steel now which is what I thought from the start. If I'm wrong I apologize though. I say this because you seem to have the same habit of completely dragging on arguements unnecessarily. You can't change my opinion on the matter I'm not that delicate. Also, you always seem to take a few points people say and just blatantly exaggerate things. Infact, you even took what I said completely out of content and even ignored me on other points. Honestly, I don't want to talk about this artist with you anymore. It's not that I'm angry or anything, I just can't argue with someone like you.

I heard your point, everyone knows what you think so let's just drop it. A simple "I don't agree she is great because X" would have been sufficient. I honestly wouldn't label someone anything before I actually knew about them. You really need to know about someone before you start labeling them anything. I already told you Selena isn't some cheap Pop act, but you completely ignored this and other things I've said and continued your fruitless rant.

I'm not suprised by any of this of course because your simply known for saying what's on your mind without if even knowing about the topic or person.

you should probably tell me about some of these albums anyhow. You're into whole styles of music that I've barely scratched the surface of (hip hop for example) and generally when it comes to rock I know you pretty much gravitate to the stuff that isnt schlock so yeah

but yeah I'm probably still gonna make a topic of my own we'll see (this forum doesnt get the kind of traffic it used to so it'll probably just get ignored completely)

man, saying WELL I WONT ARGUE WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU TEND TO ARGUE is not an excuse for making a bad topic. Wash Cycle's new topic illustrates what makes the artist he wrote on so cool and unique, where as yours continually says NOT POP NOT POP (even though yes, it is pop and particularly unimaginative pop at that! unless your examples are not representative of her, in which case you can't blame me for saying this is pretty standard shit) and doesn't say much about her other than what a neato person she was while alive.

I've asked you to elaborate on what makes her so great, and you still haven't done it! you just keep saying all these non-relevant reasons like she created a new subgenre of pop (one that sounds the exact same whoaaaaa) and how she gave money to charity!

Selena is far from great. she's generic pop who is pretty much only still relevant because she died.

You can find all her songs there aside from the english tracks. What I was talking about with the whole thing about charity blah blah fit under the category persona. I guess you just wanted me to get to the point as to why she would be considered great? Like I said try viewing the wiki.
