nah she's right, you guys were dicks

seriously you came into XD mkk anime con thread!! and decided to start arguing about the meaning of lolita congratulations

I don't who hasn't heard of gothic lolita shit before, but even if you haven't isn't it pretty clear it's not supposed to be a picture of ~younge sexualized girls~ ugh

anyway uh nice pictures mkkmypet. actually concerning the subject matter they're pretty gross but I normally wouldn't be posting in this thread so

well dude when i see lolita i don't jump to FASHION STYLE and I think it's a nauseating style and I was seriously confused as to what a lolita panel could possible fucking be if not about HOW TO LOOK LIKE A SEXUALIZED LITTLE GIRL.

CATHOLIC SCHOOL GIRLS: LOLITA OR NOT?

umm they had a slideshow of different lolita styles (classic, gothic, sweet, ita, etc...) and they talked about them. and they said places to buy high-quality lolita clothes and how to take care of them and stuff like that. they were also talking about the origins of lolita fashion and how it is NOT SEXUAL and all that.

Anime conventions have the scariest people.

Do you have any pictures of the show floor? I'm curious to know if this was a large convention or a more local one.

That looks like it was a blast. Death Note really isn't my thing, so I'd be more enthralled to see other anime/manga cosplays, but If you had enough people there for an entire Death Note cast, I'm sure there were a TON of people there.

Btw which one of those lolitas was a guy?

:fogetmmh: Well I'll be damned, ain't mkkmypet turning into a fine young lady!  :fogetnaughty:

also those fat "lolita" chicks are LOL

and whats the appeal of "lolita-style" besides the sexual one i dont get it (we all like teenage girls dressed in childrens clothing, ADMIT IT)

edit: yeah steel the catholic school girl (or japanese school girl) fetish is all about lolita in a sexual matter. as for mkkmypet, maybe girls find it cute (he he he), but guys find it arousing in a PURITY sense. well, if mature girls wear it of course. for instance, that little girl u posted was gross and id punch her parents in the face for wearing that shit.

edit2: how the fuck did i end up in this topic

the guy of the lolitas is that one wearing grey in the back row on the far right. apparently he is a gothic lolita dress designer.

i think there were about 4,000 people who attended Youmacon this year, by the way. they have no official number yet though. The first year, 1,000 people were there. the 2nd year, there were 2,000. and they had estimated there would be about 3,000 this year, but i think there were way more than that (and i was only there one day!)

Hahah yeah they do seem pretty ugly...

It's a shame because characters like Mello are hot and then some ugly girl decides to dress up like him. :x

Ugh I have to defend this only because I'm from that area too (PRESERVING SELF DIGNITY) but I think its pretty safe to say that people going to animecons have a far greater chance of being ugly than those who don't.

Yeah well... I have yet to see anyone look as good as the characters they are supposed to be! Shame...
