That is really awesome, Sarhan! Thanks!

Pokemon Trainer's changes look a tad slow, but otherwise awesome.

The clock sounds cool too. Good to know Onyx is making a comeback!

'Two songs titled "Athletic"'

Oh! This must be the Theme of Athletic tune as it is sometimes called.  My favorite song of all Nintendo music.

New info. I know two player wi-fi was semi-confirmed on the dojo (basically a 2-player co-op with two players playing online with one wii-http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/wi-fi/wi-fi04.html) but here's a video actually confirming it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=y57J62IMnuA

Pretty good news IMO. A buddy of mine and I are going to the midnight release of Brawl and we're heading to my house to play until around 5 AM. The fact that they have 2 player wi-fi means I'll be able to try the online mode with my friend instead of one of us just sitting and watching.

God we're going to kick some ass.

That is GREAT news actually. If it means what I think it does... So Wi-Fi isn't only one player, right? That's awesome. I can go to a friends house and play with anyone who didn't come over? Cool!

I see the tradition of sucky updates continues even after the break. No matter. 17 more days until we find everything out from the Japanese players.

Well, it isn't so bad actually. I'm glad to see so many stages coming back. At least we know there'll be plenty of stages. We already have 25 (19 new and 6 old) so with the unannounced ones, it should be enough. I'm still hoping for SSB64 stages. I doubt it's gonna happen though, but I'd love the chance to play on Saffron City and Hyrule again.

It's not what I expected but yeah it's not a bad update overall. Good to see so many old stages are returning.

i dont think any game devs should be allowed to say their own games are amazing

it just sounds so cheesy every time he says something like that :(

Well, you're talking about the same company that lets its own magazine review and give score to their games.

Don't you get it?  There aren't going to be any big updates.
They want the game to surprise you, so they do not want to give away all the secrets.

Well you can't expect a developer to be modest really...

I think I'm going to challenge you online if you don't mind. My roommate can be my teammate.

Eh... Not a bad update. The one thing I'm REALLY disappointed with is the apparent lack of graphical update in these stages. Melee was great and all, but against the beautiful characters and even items, bare stages like Corneria don't stand a chance. I'd rather have an exact replica of the stage, but nicer, newer graphics. Plus, they went from space to a city in the transition from N64 to Melee, so why did they keep Corneria as it is? Just a little disappointment.

I really hope they put in more n64 stages.. It seemed like in Melee they put the most shitty ones. I REALLY want to see Saffron City and Hyrule Castle as Sarhan said.

Fuck no I don't mind. I plan on challenging as many people here as I can just cuz "with anyone" is going to suck so hard. Plus I want to beat you all down (joke).

Are you getting it on the release day? I say we unlock all the characters first (by which time we should be used to the mechanics) and then have some nice 2 on 2's. Eh? Eh? (I'm excited in case you can't tell)

I'm down. I'll probably have at it around 12:00 am Feb 10th. We should have some GW tournaments if we could organize that.

Haha, same here. Maybe we should do a one on one before we even play the game once just for the hell of it? Two complete noobs in a hardcore match.

And yeah, we could definitely organize tournies a few months after release. To make it interesting and worthwhile, we'd probably need 12+ people. And maybe we can do 2 vs. 2 if enough people buy it. We'll see.

EDIT: Also, Japanese Amazon has ran out of pre-orders already and apparently some U.S. stores have stopped taking pre-orders as well. Looks like Brawl will be pretty huge.
