I think G&W might be my new beatdown guy.  He feels really improved since melee.

You haven't looked into them enough if you think they have the same moveset.

Oh. really? I saw a youtube video of the already released version and everything I saw him doing looked the same as the other two.

What's different?

Yeah, I think you need to look again. There are definitely differences.

Everything. I'm sorry to bash, but you really have NO CLUE if you think any of them are cloned from any other. Each of their B's are similar in concept, but drastically different in how they'd execute. Falco's reflector shoots out, Wolf's blaster is different, etc etc. Additionally, all their A moves are pretty much different as well. Falco has Fox's up smash, but altered... That's it. Everything else is different.

EDIT: Directed at pastryface, obviously.

Alrighty, I'm back from the tournament, and I had a blast. I lost though, but its ok, the match was great.
I'm just going to paste my LJ entry because I'm too tired to type much.

"I am back from the WPI Smash Bros Brawl Tournament, and I lost on my first round XD.
I have absolutely no regrets though, I had a lot of fun, and the match was a close 3 - 4 . For my first time at it I think I did pretty good, the character I chose was Diddy.

No excuses here, I gave it my best, and I look forward to next Saturdays Gamestop tournament.
(Also I got some free stuff, and free stuff is always awesome!)"

So yeah, next time! Arrr....
Dude I probably saw you there. I was wearing a black and white zelda shirt with a leatherr jacket plus beard. I lost 2-3 on the first round, barely. PLayed as piitt, who's pretty cool man. The exp was increidable, really invigorarating and inspiring thuogh. I got to meet KDJ, a pro smash bros player with a mean ring that says ssbm on one hand, and kdj on the other, and a bunch of other hardcore dudes. KDJ won the whole bloody thing in a some pretty epic matches featuring shiek. I was like I wanted to cry man, it was just so beautiful.

The unfair thing is that  a large group of kids either downloaded the japanese version of the game and burned it to disc, or imported it and has been playing for a month so they have mad exp that they used for the tournament. The game is ill as, but the controls for reg wiimote are gay. For the classic controller is alright but from what I hear the cube controller is best.

It was nice becasuse even after you lose you can still play outside of the tournament. I used an altered id to get in because I'm 17, I bascally put a sticker that I printed setting my birthday a year back. Wasn;t sure if it would fly but the guy didn't say anything, he just kinda looked at me. I got some ill swag like wii gloves and keychain, some kids got bunches of them to like sell or whatever. Basically got there at 8:30 and just chilled for mad hours.

Was the tournament only for tonight? I had really wanted to go to one; but had ansolutely no idea it had been taking place at WPI, or anything. Sucks. (Especially since I live about ten minutes away.)

Also, you two live in the area? XD

The moves are a little different, used differently, have something that makes them slightly different. They are still basically clones though, and the final slot being filled by a clone (I think) justifies my rage.

From what I've read around so far, just the starter.(My guess is because the game hasn't been released yet)

Awesome, I think I might have seen you, I dunno.
I was this...generic looking guy (black t-shirt and jeans...I have no style). I fought on booth 7.

But yeah it was great, sadly I had to leave early so I didn't really get to mingle with anybody (I doubt I would have anyways, I'm terrible at talking to people :<) And I apparently I missed a really good final match, although I'm sure it will appear online soon.

Also Kirby+Light Up Wiimote Keychain, yay!

Yes only yesterday.
Also I live in Leominster, so it was like a 30 minute drive for me since I left while it was snowing.

Oh btw, the classic controller feels terrible imo.

Typical? How so? And why is it disappointing that I use him?

I love Marth. In melee, he's my favorite/best, but I play with Ice Climbers, Samus, Young Link, Sheik, and Dr. Mario all the time. Marth is just my go-to guy when I feel like beating everyone down.

In Brawl, Marth will probably be my best as well, but I'm planning on using Wolf, Luigi, Olimar, Kirby, Toon Link, Ike, Meta Knight, Lucario, and Diddy Kong.

You haven't looked into them enough if you think they have the same moveset.

It was mostly a joke. All my friends who are really good use Marth because he's so fuckin' good in Melee. Though I can win a lot of battles using Samus. I've always hated Marth as a character. Really annoying :).

Yea, I just signed up for the Smash Brawl tornament.

I'LL PWN ALL WITH

Not only Purin has Rest, Pound, Rollout, and good arial technique, but I'll just use the "Giga Jiggly Glitch" and smash all of yall into bits!
I don't miss twice, campers.

Pound is okay, but rest and rollout are both predictable and easily avoided. Rest requires you to be on top of the opponent while doing it so it's kinda hard to pull off as well.

The giant Jigglypuff glitch doesn't increase your hitboxes at all. The game still thinks you're normal size. The only thing that changes is your appearance. There is literally no advantage to that glitch. If anything, it'll put you at a disadvantage because you won't be able to see where you should be attacking.

I used to love Jigglypuff in Melee, but not so much in Brawl. I can't quite figure out what changed.

That's what makes it challenging. If you can find a tactical way for you to put those moves to your advantage then alot of new oppotunities will show up. It's a great way to build your skills for any character. Besides its final smash isn't that bad neither. Plus it makes it super humiliating for the opponent if they loose from the attack.

This is why Purin one of is the most underrated character in the Smash franshise.

Besides, I just choose to fight as Purin because I'm really good with it.

Yoshi is underrated. Dino-Love. No but he does suck balls, unless he got beefed in Brawl.
