I should probably be deeply shocked considering that this was (I guess?) the first school shooting in Scandinavia and that it occurred in the rural district where I used to go to primary school, but turns out I am not! All I can really muster together is empathy for the victims and their families. I blame the Internet for accustoming and desensitizing me to school shootings.

Also I would think no one takes his "message" seriously, possibly not even himself. While I kind of dislike analyzing people like this, especially with info I have only extracted from the news, it all seems so awkwardly strung together that it was more like he just really wanted to shoot some people up but felt like it would be half-hearted if there wasn't a philosophy behind it. But well, looks like he did manage to change society somewhat: there will sure as hell be massive youth mental health and school security hysteria up here in the north for the next few months at least.

I watched the video and the video comments on it. When I saw them I was surprised to see how, for one, all those people like the word fuck a lot. And two, how they think they are all better then everybody. Funny thing is that after I read some stuff about intelligence and had some life experience I do agree that there are a lot of stupid en ignorant people among us. But who cares, that's just society, if you can't cope up with people being (in your opinion) worse as you, well in that case, you are a weakling yourself.

Next to that I can't see where the comments of this Finnish shooter toward blablaatheist come from. He looks like a nerd too, so before bringing up blablaatheist is fat, he should have had a good look at hisself.

Sounds like another Harris/Klebold wannabe like that Cho guy. What a fucking loser. The sad thing is that these still never get prevented. Mind you it's kinda hard, major terrorist plots tend to be a lot more conspicuous that some pissed off high-schooler (or wherever they are) hiding a few weapons on his person... when's the last time we heard news on a school shooting being prevented?

(Loads of people are now gonna post news articles where that's happened, I just know it)

As far as we can tell, he was motivated by his hatred for rich and beautiful people squandering their lives. EDIT: namely against him.

I love how many people are describing this guy as a moron and a idiot and a freak...its these words that can make the mentally instable do these kind of things all because you scoff at their social standing and beliefs on the world.

ugh people dont understand what "survival of the fittest" means.

it has nothing to do with being clever, strong, etc--it has to do with your ability to reproduce in order to pass genes.

you can be fucking hercules but if you can't reproduce, you are not fit.

besides there is nothing "progressive" or "regressive" about it, it just happens-
