So here is the deal. When I start up my comp a box pops up that says "personalizing MaKay32.exe settings" My comp works except MaKay32.exe keeps randomly popping up under my processes, also firefox.exe opens in processes (but Firefox doesn't actually open on my comp) and when I terminate it, it comes back a couple of seconds later. Also, every once in awhile a box pops up saying shit about Winvnc and like if I'm at work when I come home a bunch will be up saying shit like the application is already running.
I did a virus scan and it found some shit but apparently it wasn't this cause it's still happening. Did a spyware scan too. I searched Google for info on MaKay32.exe and it didn't find anything, all I know is it's in the system32 folder. I did a search on winvnc and said it's a non-essential system process that shouldn't be terminated unless it's causing problems. Anyone know what the fuck MaKay32.exe is?
I'm gonna try and reinstall Firefox see if that does anything. Thanks in advance dudes!
Edit: I looked online and from what I gathered it said something like if Winvnc is in a different directory than it should be it's probably corrupted? Also, it said Winvnc will allow me to view my desktop from any vnc server...fuck I don't even do that.
Also I did a system restore (as this just started happening last night) and it said it couldn't be restored to that point...wtf.
Edit II: I'm guessing MaKay32.exe is nothing important or anything since I searched in Google and not one thing came up and I tried other search engines too! The MaKay faggot only seems to come up in the processes whenever I close that faggot Firefox.exe that pops up. When I close that MaKay32.exe comes up and then goes away but the Firefox.exe comes back.
Virus doesn't seem super bad it's just annoying
