;( It's a shame September 30th is so far away! I sat down and watched Season 1 of this in one day, then Season 2 in another day about a week later. Fuckin' amazing show, seriously. First one I've been able to sit down and watch that many of in a long time.

Plus RIP Doakes ;( He was the best character next to Dex, yeah. I also really, REALLY like Rita, I find her character fascinating.

Plus yeah, the books are pretty good. Cody and... good lord, I've forgotten the other one's name. Are really good in the books.

Darkly Dreaming and Dearly Devoted were fantastic but I thought Lindsay fumbled a bit with In The Dark. Maybe I just like titles with alliterations.

Lindsay said he'd like to work on other projects in the future, specifically another play. But he's already started working on a fourth Dexter book, and the vigilante-serial killer will be his main professional focus for now.

Eagerly awaiting like a 12 year old girl awaited the last Harry Potter book.

shit yeah man, i have been just about counting down the days for this!!!

and the fourth book but still.

this episode was okay. it was kind of boring and too familiar with more than a few clunky lines. i like this new prosecutor character though. i'll keep watching it, it could certainly still get good. it just felt a little like a stand alone episode of some procedural though.
