Finally, a Duke Nukem Forever trailer is reported to be hitting the interwebz TOMMOROW!

Last Saturday we had our annual company Christmas party. It was a lot of fun as usual but it featured one special surprise. It turns out that several people had been secretly working late nights and into the wee hours of the morning preparing a special video for those at the party. They created a short teaser for Duke Nukem Forever.

After seeing the teaser we thought it was something we should share with all of you and while it's just a teaser, rest assured more is coming.

Tomorrow, Wednesday the 19th, around noon CST, we will release the first teaser trailer from Duke Nukem Forever. To tide you over until then, here is a screen shot taken from the teaser.

Thank you for being fans of the game and for your continued patience.

I'd like to thank the people on the team that worked so hard to create this teaser and the friends of 3DR that helped create it (Jeremy Soule and Julian Soule, Frank Bry, Jason Evigan and of course, Jon St. John).

I'm having high hopes, but honestly I don't think this will be so great. Finally we are getting something.

Seriously, the only way they wouldn't get laughed at and possibly punched in the face is if they manage to make it so incredibly awesome and mind blowing that everyone somehow loses the ability to remember that Duke Nukem Forever was supposed to be out when Jesus was still around or something, and I don't recall the last Duke Nukem game being hailed as the pinnacle of game design for it's genre.
I always thought the name referred to how long it was suspended for though, so what do I know...?

I'm not saying they need to randomly release the game, you figure 10 years would go by and they would have more than a trailer. Duke Nukem Forever is a laughingstock for how ridiculously long it's been taking to well...do anything.

That is also an acronym in Formula One, it stands for "Did Not Finish." I maintain my belief that this game will never be released.

This game better be the second coming. I want it to guide all the people who had faith in it's production to gamer heaven while the non believers inherit the lesser title... probably Crysis.
