GW Awards 2007

So it's that time of the year again, it's time for the annual GW Awards. I, Lord Spillsbury, will be hosting the awards this year.

So, myself and the team have been working on a list of categories for the 2007 awards, most if not all of the previous years awards have made it over, and there are a few from the 2005 awards that didn't make Drule and co's cut.

Anyway, the categories are as follows:

• The Rift award (Best IRC user)

• Member who thinks he/she is funny but isn't

• Best avatar (GIVE EXAMPLE)

• Best Gamemaker
• Best Composer
• Best Artist
• Best Filmmaker
  
• Best Writer/Poet

Remember, to be up for Best New Member, the nomination needs to have joined in 2007. Try to give an actual example of the best avatar, considering it's pretty hard to keep track of them all. Everything else should be self-explanatory.

P.S. It isn't very fair that members who join in the last couple months of a year have a very slim chance of winning "New Member" awards. For example, someone who joins in November 2006 isn't eligible for these GW Awards 2007 and had no chance of winning in 2006 because he only had a month to make posts and prove like-able.

I propose that you extend the range for "Best New Member" to be October 2006 - Present.
