I believe that sometimes being famous can drive specific 'types' of people insane, due to all the attention they receive.

Some people, ofc, thrive on it.

What do you guys think? is one of our main life goals to become as well known as possible, a constant struggle for fame? It varies from person to person, but i believe we have comfort in popularity...?

No, never. If you value yourself through that how others think about you/know you or how much you have left and affected this world, then i guess it's ok.

But i think the primary thing in life(for me anyways) is to establish a stable security, by getting a job... well, by having a stable life in general. When you are on a solid ground, it's a good place to start searching and expressing yourself, if you know what i mean.
And it's alright to disagree with me or with anybody else. Everybody has to find the meaning of life for  themselves.

I remember everyone I used to go to school with back in the second grade used to have

well, i mean i speak for myself, but i like to try and get to know people, althou i dont quite aspire to fame, alot of these programs 9american idol, x factor, big bro etc etc) are all about making the common person without a chance, have a chance, and people flood in the thousands to try and even get this chance.

I mean, people will do nearly anything for their 5 minutes of fame, is this because of the way television portrays those who are rich and famous?
