I've heard some people say that the whole 'Brand New Day' series (the post-retcon one) is actually pretty good, but I'm still a bit wary of it... Anyone read the new ones? Should I check them out, or avoid 'em like the plague?

Dude, it's Dan Slott. His stories are always awesome.

Check out the first issue, if you don't like it don't bother. It's pretty much a classic spidey story, plus the most badass new villain ever.

Cool, I'll grab a copy next time I visit the comic book store... Especially since I only just found out that Dan Slott is the guy who writes 'Avengers: The Initiative', and that book rules.

I dunno man, I seem to be enjoying it a bit.

Plus, Mr Negative is ASIAN so I'm pretty happy with Mr. Slott and McNiven. They probably hate the whole character change too, but it seems like they're trying to make the best out of it.

man...they've hit every cliche so far. and it was so obvious who Mr. Negative is, I expected Peter to go "GAH! YOU!"
