Please ignore that i play an Epiphone SG, I am in the process of procurring a Fender Strat. 1990 one, absolutely lush.

but yeah, i play that. I've got a Marshall 15 DFX (very nice) which i use for the average bedroom messing about and a Line 6 Spider (say what you will, its a nice amp), for playing with the band.
Acoustically, i play a Tanglewood Oddysey (its a roundback). Lovely guitar, great sound to it.
I also have a novation X-station synth, Yamahha Keys and a Collins Mandolin.

Oh, pedals. Boss DFX (crucial) and a Marshall Echohead. Great delay pedal.

it was my dad's old hagstrom. they're still around today, and they make some similar models. check them out: http://www.hagstromguitars.com/ I really like how the F-200P looks in cream

I need to re-wire mine, but otherwise it's still good

That's a pretty tight guitar, man. Some old guitars have too much weird decoration on the body but i think that looks quite nice.

i bought it after playing it at my local shop. i was deciding between a strat and a mustang but i ended up getting the mustang. it has a very unique tone to it and I really liked the feel of it.

and i play stuff like rhcp, the mars volta, hendrix, velvet underground, john frusciante, lots of classic rock (led zeppelin :naughty:, cream, pink floyd, the who, etc)
Yeah, i pretty much like Mustangs sound, it sounds gorgeous. Can you get any clean, soft sound out of it besides that honking mustang - sound? Or assuming that if i had such guitar, do i have to change the neck mic?

Stupidly put, yeah, but i'm basically trying to find out can you play some clean (,soft sounding) stuff with it since it has quite twangy/honky sound (even more when the mics are out of phase). :fogetbackflip:

mustangs have amazing cleans. in fact if you really want a more distortion focused guitar i suggest you look elsewhere.

Nonono, i mean, it has great cleans, i know. What i tried to ask is that can you get other sound of beside that mustang COUNTRY TWANG. I don't mean any humbucker softness, i mean something less countri-ish.
This is rather difficult since i can't compare the tones. :fogetshrug:

yeah you can roll back the tone nob and get jazz-like cleans. it sounds a lot like a telecaster with less attack and more sustain.

well idk about that one, it's probably like mine but maybe not. I've actually got a hagstrom III and that II is the only one I had on my comp, but I will finally take some pics now!!

it's a tone pot, there is actually no volume control

I'm not sure about all the other switches though, like I said I need to fix up the wiring. my dad says they turn the pickups on/off and something else, maybe more tone control?

I think it must be 3 on/off switches and 3 "on phase"/"out of phase" switches
Play Raimond Ex (if you haven't already)

'62 reissue Lake Placid Blue Fender Jaguar

like that except my headstock isn't painted
i really want to put a mustang bridge on it to reduce buzz/intonation issues, but otherwise i love it

Jay Turser Cruiser Deluxe (thinline Telecaster knockoff)

it's very nice but the neck pickup has almost NO VOLUME which limits my clean tone to a degree

Line 6 Spider II 212

2 12" 75W speakers, 12 amp models, 7 effects
i like it a lot!!

i think i might add a metal plate with phase switches to my strat knockoff. that would look 1000000000% badass.
i should start just grafting random metal plates to my guitars.

Nothing special...Just some budget guitars, but I love them none the less.

A Johnson strat: I cant post the specs because I can find them, not even on johnsons site. It was my first guitar. Stock pickups/tuners etc. I have it set up with .12-.52 strings :fogetnaughty: I spray painted a pickguard and got it signed by tommy emmanuel and steven bennett.

My Esp/Ltd:
Ltd F-100fm

Wood: Agathis[ewww]/flamed maple top
Neck/Fingerboard: Maple/Rosewood
Frets: 24 XJ
Bolt On/ 25.5
Tuners: Stock
Bridge: Tune o matic
Pickups: Seymour duncan sh-14 custom-5 for bridge, stock p.u for the neck.

I love the tone of my new seymour duncan pickup[its ][/its] It actually has tonal characteristics, unlike the stock pickups...It has nice clarity and the distortion sounds perfect. Right on the egde of hot output, and its has a nice crispy crunchy thickness to it.

Its really weird, because I wired the new pickup wrong, but I wired it so it messed with the neck pickup, and when I switch the to neck pickup, it gives it the sound of a fuzzy wah, like that of Zack Wylde. Its actually interesting...

Sexy geetar :)))

Amp: Crate GT65.
65 watts, reverb, 12 inch speaker.
Pretty good amp, definitely not the best for gigs, becuase its a bit small[duh]. but I dont really have the money for a stack atm. If I did have the $$$ though, Id get a crate tube stack or if I had even more $$$ Id get a Bogner Ubershall, but I hear they arnt very versatile...and are really exspensive. I really love the warm tone a crate gives so Ill prolly stick with those.

I plan to get a guitar with a floyd rose. Like a superstrat or something. If I could get a custom Id get an ESP eclipse with a floyd rose tremolo installed...

Pepoke are you left handed? Have you ever tried to play on a normal guitar with reversed strings like Jimi Hendrix?
Play Raimond Ex (if you haven't already)

that's a silly idea

Also since my instruments are elsewhere (college, other people's homes etc.) you will have to have internet photos!

Yeah my bass is an Epiphone copy of a Gibson Thunderbird IV.

I also have a backup Jazz Bass copy, with a nice pearl scratchplate =D

I also have a white Epiphone copy of a Gibson SG (which is apparently impossible to get a good picture of!)

Finally, when I have a good job I will be purchasing the beautiful Rickenbacker 4003 (or a 4001 if I can find one)

these are sick, especially that ric bass

i have a shitty CORT bass that needs the strings changed badly, but that's okay because i never play it. haven't since before i got my first electric (the jay turser)
