Alabasta is long and boring for its first stretch up until Rainbase (early 100s of the arc) when the stage begins to set up. The next part (110s) is when the crew takes on Baroque Works on the final part (120s) leads up to the main fight. Everyone gets to fight and a nakama whose been around joins the crew officially at the end. Overall the fights were solid (I liked all the main ones), but the general buildup is riddled with filler. Overall, I give this arca respectable 9.

It has it's moments, but it's not the best arc I've seen. I did like some of the fights, and Ace. Ace rocks! <3 Much Ace love.

Nami actually got some proper fight time. Yeah, it definitely starts rolling from here on out.

Great arc, I'd say second best in One Piece so far. The filler bits weren't really too bad and there were a lot of nice moments in the arc. I didn't care for all of it though but it's still worth a 9.

I gave it a 9 too. It's the best arc of the series I think. Alot of weird but interesting characters. Call me strange, but I like Mr. 2 alot lol. Thought it was neat when he turned good and helped them escape the Navy.

It's too bad they changed the voices, say what you want but it ruined the series for me. I don't watch it anymore.

yeah, I watched a few after they changed over and I just don't like it at all. And it's not the storyline that's worse, it's the voices!

They just take getting used to. I disliked them at first, but eventually came to like them.
