Ok first off, my laptop has died out for a number of reasons. So I shall be taking the HDD out and using it as an external one. I have a new computer to transfer the files over. It's my mom's MAC. Anyways, my questions are:

1) When transfering over my roms for say SNES games. If I have the same emulator on the MAC that I did for Windows, IE SNES9X or whatever. Would I be able to transfer over my saves, and have them work properly?

2) Does anyone know of a good PSX emulator for MAC OS X or better if possible.

The saves are saved in the same folder as the roms. So if you still have that folder, you will still have the saves.

Ok, usually emulators I use have "Battery save"and "Save State" folders, but i think some have been saved in the same folder as the game. I just wasnt sure that even though its the same emulator from the same company. since they are on a different OS, would the file extentions be recognized. And I dont get a case for the HDD until Wednesday at least. So I wont be able to find out until at least then.

Your best bet for a PSX Emulator would be ePSXe, I can't remember if there is one for a Mac, but google searching isn't too hard... I had too... but for a starter try zophar.net (lol olllllllllllld place.) Its a place to start, I don't think they'll have emulator stuff though... oh well. :P

But google is your best friend. But finding the BIOS I recommend somethin' like Bitlord/Bit Torrent.

I possibly should have mentioned this before, but I've tried Zophar, it does have PSX emulators but they wont open, they just unexpectedly quit. ePSXe is a pretty good emulator but I find it takes up too much processing power. I found another one that worked just as well but didn't require as much resources. I'll let you know what it is once I get the HDD out and working.

I think the PSX emulator I found for the Mac was called PCSX, but I'm not 100% sure.  I don't remember if I ever even used it in the end though, so I can't tell you if it's good or not.

There's a lot of memory card conversion utilities online, but I'm not certain if it extends to Macs.
Mac has a version of Virtual Game Station that won't look very pretty, but should be able to run most psx games.

Or, if you got a fast enough Mac, you can just run windows emulation and solve both your problems.
