Yeah I know I read that, I am saying that as a brit and as the moderator of the forum it's my job to check the topic but I'm conflicted because the show doesn't air over here for like a week after you guys so I can either a) not check the post and leave it all to mat or b) you can just put shit into spoilers.

I just watched every episode of every season of this show in like a 2-4 day period (I'm not sure how long, time seemed to not matter) for the first time. I'm pretty sure I'm obsessed. When I wasn't watching Lost, I was talking about lost, when I wasn't talking about lost I was thinking about lost...

I have to say... this is one of the most intriguing TV shows I have ever watched. The wait for the next episode is nearly unbearable... every episode has ended with a WTF or a OH SNAP feeling.

So I just saw the third episode. A couple of weird but interesting things happened, a few twists. Thought it was a pretty good episode overall. Right now it feels like the writers are making a mess for themselves (not a bad one though) with all the flashforwards and stuff, but since they know when to end it I assume they know what they are doing.

The voice in the end was so obvious though and kinda silly how he spoke with a slower and darker voice until we saw who it was. I wonder what the hell happened that would get Sayid to work for Ben... kinda bummed that he got off the island too. .

i thought the last episode was the best episode in a long time. it had tons of twists and was really good

Yeah I agree. From past experiences though, any episodes that centers around Sayid has always been good, and this of course, was no exception.

I really dug this new episode. Normally I hate Kate's episodes, but this one manages to bring all of them together into a showdown, an end to the rather lackluster fugitive saga.

Plus, Ken Leung's character is so badass.

This was awesome. It's a shame I didn't have that feeling the entire episode, but I
found myself waiting for the final line for five minutes during the ending.

You just knew shit like this was going to be coming down.

They're doing a brilliant job on the new season. I'm having high hopes for the rest
of the series.

yeah, what Locke did with the grenade sort of threw me off. I mean... he is fucking crazy... I like him as a character... A LOT but... he is annoyingly illogical. Thats one of the few things about the characters in this series is that they make decisions that aren't sane or logical a lot. then again, that might be because as a viewer that can "see all" it makes their 'wrong' decisions seem more illogical then they actually are... and I suppose being on this island can make a person crazy...

As for Kate, I can also say that the whole fugitive thing is is kind of old. and glad that it comes to an end in the near future. I hope this "foresight" thing goes away soon... and never comes back... it makes the chronological order of the series kind hard to follow.

The large quantity of money thing with Ben doesn't really make me more curious about him (thus it doesn't make me ask more questions), nor does it really answer any questions about him that I already have. Talk of money seems petty compared to what is probably actually going on here... and I hope it is. I mean, does anyone here remember the foot piece of the statue with four toes? I mean WTF was that?

Actually, it doesn't really surprise me. Locke is slowly going mad, because the Island seems to
have stopped helping him. He's becoming more irrational. I think they're doing a good job at keeping
their characters realistic, actually.

Yeah, the way the show is presented, and the feel it gives changed with the introduction of the flash-forwards.
At first, they told you about the characters. Now they seem to have moved on to making everything seem
weirder and more mysterious than ever. It's like they're trying to make you look forward to events in the future
in a whole new way. It's a stroke of genius, but I'm not sure I want to know what happens in the future yet.

I'd have been content with not knowing wether they would get off the island.

I agree with CorporateGreed, Locke's character is slowly heading to madness. In the beginning of the series he was kind and helpful... hopeful even more. But as time progressed he lost his faith in the island for a while and every now and then the Island kinda kicks him in the ass and make things harder for him (not finding the cabin for instance). Locke's one of my favorite characters but I kinda liked him better before he went "lol, I'll put a grenade in your mouth, harrharr", but he has become far more interesting now.

I have a feeling that she'll get on the helicopter eventually with Aaron and the rest of the Oceanic 6, but someone will grab her baby and just push her out, leading to her death. I hope that happens.

you might be right. but then why wouldn't she have anyone going to her funeral? Claire isn't one of the characters that does not have any family... is she?
