Update: A few changes have been made! Spreadshirt decided to drop $1.50 off the cost of the shirts for some reason so they now cost less.

In the time the Shop has existed (since August 2007), it has sold 13 t-shirts and has brought in US $28.90 for Gaming World.
If you are with SNK, $4.09 has been made from from the shirts bearing your copyrighted design. Please PM me for an official sales statement.
Hello. I am pleased to bring you, after what amounts to probably months of waiting,
the Whahay T-Shirt Shop! The shop was brought back initially after a failure to deliver the initial batch, to give prizes in the Catch Captain Goodluck contest. The people who won the shirts acted as testers of the shirt quality as well as to guarantee that each shirt got out.
T-Shirts are $17.99 $16.99 each, and ringers are $20.99 $19.99 each plus shipping and handling. All major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and DISCOVER), as well as check and money order are accepted.Charity info: All profit from shirt sales goes directly to Bart's Paypal account every quarter. I touch none of this money. The profits presumably go to making GW a better place for everyone.

What constitutes the production costs of a shirt? (Click to reveal)Well, the shirts I use (Heavyweight Cotton) cost $9.90 plus the cost of putting the design on ($3). All of the designs used are complex, which adds a $3 fee on top of that, which brings us to $15.90. The total that goes to GW ($2.59) is put on top of that, which brings us to $16.99, the final price. You can read more about this
here.
P.S. I have no idea how the cost went down by $1.50, but it did, and I'm taking advantage of it.
Here are some (positive and negative) testimonials.
Negative (Click to reveal)[EXPLETIVE DELETED] on Q's Chocolate T-Shirt:
Jesus, my mom just dropped mine off, said it got in this morning. Didn't you JUST redesign it?
Also my camera's not working right now but I'm trying to figure something out.
But for the record it's ugly as hell. The blue outline around the words is REALLY UGLY with the brown background, and the fact that it's been separated into two lines really makes it look bad.
So in essence... DROP Q'S.
I'll try and get some pix this weekend.
also it feels really weird. Not like... normal shirts.

Hello this is me i'm [EXPLETIVE DELETED] that's me. i'm smiling because i just got a pinecone shirt (you would smile too!)

hello here is another photo of my shirt if you hate my face and love shirts

b...beautiful vectors

here are my t-shirts in all of their glory and fame on an ugly old couch (great.. my shirts have beer stains now)

i am too busy backflipping to success to smile

b...beautiful design. (As you may or may not see, there are tiny little dots around a few of the edges but you really can't see them unless you inspect the shirt. They are smooth and pretty much unnoticeable, so it's not a problem.)

mmmmm fruit of the loom. Well i took this photo to show you that the material is actually quite nice! It's not some cheap cloth that you would mistake for a rag. It's also quite thick and it feels like a strong material that won't die after 2 washes. b..beautiful hems too!

Basically, these shirts are awesome. Pasty is incredible and awesome. He worked his ass off to get them to this stage and quality and I was not let down AT ALL!
Recommendation: EVERYONE GO BUY A GW SHIRT NOW (ASK PASTY HOW) On New Designs: Certainly, the designs I suggested up in the poll are not the only ones possible, just ones that come to mind right now. I certainly will take other designs (for instance, if someone from PerfectRun or other guys want to put up a shirt based on one of their games, etc) and will work with the design submitter on getting these proofed and ready to press.
Here's the thing, though. Spreadshirt has
absurdly stringent vector design criteria. I have not yet submitted a design that has passed their vector criteria, even though it seems like 9 times out of 10 I make a design that seems to fit the design criteria and they reject it anyway. Here is the most frequent rejection I get:
Hello Johnathan W,
Thank you for submitting a new design to your Spreadshop. Unfortunately the image "" (design ID: ########) that you have uploaded cannot be used. The reason we could not approve your design is:
Some elements in your design do not meet our size requirements. Please make sure that:
• All components of your design are at least 0.059 inches (1.5 mm).
• The space between elements should be no less than 0.04 inches (1 mm).
• The entire design cannot exceed 11.7 x 11.7 inches (297.18 mm). We actually recommend a size of 8.86 x 8.86 inches (225 mm) so that your design can be successfully printed on most of our products.

So, here's what I'll do. We can propose designs in this topic, and get them proofed.
The first person to crack the "vector code" and give me a vector design they will accept will get a sample shirt of their design, AND another T-Shirt of their choosing, both shipping paid. Please submit your design in either .ai (Adobe Illustrator Format) or .eps (encapsulated postscript format). Anyone that submits a design that goes on a shirt, regardless of whether or not it is accepted as a vector, automatically gets a sample T-Shirt for testing purposes and as a reward for submitting the design. I want you to know before you consider this that
you will get no monetary return for your designs. I don't see any profit from this operation at all! This is something that you can do to help out GW and maybe get a little recognition for your art in the process. This is the chance for Graphic Art people to step up to the plate and get a design out there!
Anyway, a little musing on my part. The rationale behind not just buying a whole bunch of white shirts and writing ARE YOU RESISTINS ME on them is (a) these would have to be done in batches. The first time I attempted this, I was given a link to a place that had some absurdly low prices for base T-Shirts. It looked too good to be true, and it was, because I would have had to do a batch of some pretty high number (I don't remember if it was like 20 or 30, but it was a significant amount.) I don't want to do that. I want people to be able to go in and order a shirt whenever they want without the fear of not being able to find someone else to partner up with because everyone has the shirt they wanted. The other reason is that (b) Spreadshirt actually uses pretty nice material and methods and I really appreciate their support (when I'm not grappling with them over design issues.) They don't do a shop commission, and I'm able to set the commissions to go the the GW Paypal account and upload new designs and offer new products with ease. In the end, I want shirts that people can actually wear proudly in public, and this is my reasoning!
That's all I got. Questions and feedback always welcome!
