Best animated movie I have seen in a fair few years (and best comic based movie released?). New Frontier is the second in DC's animated movies (first being the merely good Superman Doomsday) but this is a total smash hit. The best animation seen from a western production since Disney's glory days. It's based on the famous comic book story of the same title, so needless to see it was bound to be good.
For those who don't know, basically the story is basically the origin of the silver age justice league, they team up to fight an alien presence and fight an army of fucking dinosaurs. Of course it's a whole lot better than that, but the mere premise of Batman fighting fucking dinosaurs should be enough for anybody to want to watch it!
The animation takes it's style from the comic and not the DCAU, so it's kinda refreshing. The voice actors are pretty good cast though akward at times due to my familiarity with the AU. It is totally wicked sweet, and has side portions of ass-kicking fucking dinosaurs.

I've never heard of this, since I've always prefered Marvel to DC, but this movie sounds fucking awesome. I'll see if I can find a copy...

well he did start going camp in the 50's (thanks to a certain report) so it was most likely to keep him with what he looked like at the time. Though that means the FUCKING DINOSAUR bloodbath becomes somewhat ironic for him XD

Amazing movie. Marvel needs to bow down before DC once and for all.
