Card Sagas Wars is a game under development for the PC platform. It features 100s of characters including Link, Chun Li, Master Chief, Bowser, Mega Man, Cloud, Ivy, DK, etc etc etc. Here's the full sprite gallery.

When I first heard about this, I thought of it being awful like mugen, but it actually looks pretty well made. Your thoughts?



EDIT:So not all chars listed will be featured, although we can assume that the ones featured in the trailer are more than likely in.

dude, i am being serious. i have been waiting for so long to be able to play as strago in a fighting game.

I'm sure that this is a sweet game, but it *is* pretty hillarious that the title was obviously conceived to snag as many completely unreleated japfag Google searches as possible.

Ahruon and Orkimides are the ones who drew the sprites. I'm not sure if anybody else is helping them currently, but I'm pretty sure it's just them.

I know you're joking (because pixeling is sin and I will cut myself long before I ever try it again) but.... about that. It's the same deal I have with my clannies (who are all gay and want pics of their characters done). You're too cool in my books for me to accept your money for drawins... but being the whore that I am I only stay motivated enough to finish anything if there is any money involved. I wish I was kidding. I am a very horrible person... I know. I can't even draw for myself any more.

Imagine how awkward it was explaining this in vent... multiple times.

Also, Doppleganger, the artists where all on the site. You just have to sort the list to show them.

This is NOT the mugen engine, which is why I have hope for it. It isn't just make-a-char-with-no-respect-for-balance, they actually worked to make the chars fit to the engine. I think the similar art style for all the chars was well done, the sprites look very professional.
