Sure thing buddy. I know that.
but. is something i diss... feh...feh...
Reference: See the third promo (especially from 0:20). The battles with more than 2 characters looks as chaotic as they do on Little Fighter 2.
It LOOKS like the combo system consist of either hitting buttons REALLY QUICK or learning long, tedious combos (Tekken-scrubs and MK). Who knows, call me oldschool or w/e but it looks more fit to the HEH FUN TO PLAY TOGETHER WITH MY ROSEBUDDS - action rather than on... eh, you know. Something less quick, chaotic, blasty. Something with shorter, timed combos.
Eh, maybe i am just too constrained.
EH.
I completely disagree and think you're right on the oldschool deal. Fighters now and days are shifting towards higher combos, more intricate stuff. Guilty Gear and what not, all have huge combos, but to some extent they are really easy and are just a matter of timing + execution. (like, in Melty Blood a combo can be c.C AABBC grab, so its like buttons right after each other; or Marvel, with magic combos, etc.)
It's not really MY style of game either, I play them, but I'm more of an oldschool kind of guy myself...I'm sure 1 on 1 this game will be pretty okay. After alll those special moves are done like in smash so probably that Master Chief combo is probably just like A, A, A, f+B, j. A, j.A, u+B, f+B, d+B or SOMETHING really easy.
