This game is utterly fascinating, but now I am stuck. I'm on the map that the editor says is the final dungeon. There are three doors that play musical notes. There is a piano. I'll be damned if I can solve this puzzle. Yes, I've tried to cheat my way through, but in this puzzle the programming is so complicated I haven't a clue what to do. I've checked the notes played by the doors with my own piano. I've hummed the notes while walking between door and piano and back. Nothing works.

(And I don't know how you'd play this game if you were tone deaf!)

I was stuck on that same part when I first played it. Unfortunately, I gave up. :(

I was tone deaf when I was a child and that is why I never beat Star Tropics.  I actually still have a pretty terrible ear which is funny because I compose music and I had a hell of a time by the time I got to Ear Training IV in college.

Unfortunately I cannot help you.
