yeah this rocked we had 8 GWs & Goats girlfriend all in the same game. Finally got the "With Friends Like These" achievement.

i played altogether FAR too much today and my legs don't work anymore. i think i'm showing some gradual improvement--it helps knowing how to use most weapons/abilities/classes. but i might have to stick to australian servers for the most part. u.s. ones give me a ping of like 400, compared to 30 locally.

also i gotta ask: what's the go with getting the unlockable weapons? i want em.

I think they're playing again later, and I'll play later today after I wake up. If we're doing something, somebody on my steam friends list let me know (Goat, Bob, or Neophyte basically)

You can get the unlockable weapons by unlocking the milestone achievements through playing, grinding an achievement server, or using the achievement locker program. So far only medic, pyro, and heavy have their weapons. No word on the next class that will be updated.

ah, gotcha. thanks. i suspected it'd be achievement-related so that's cool, if i can get some more.

I was playing a few hours ago, and it was a blast. I might even buy TF2, I can certainly see myself doing that.

Everyone was like "MEDIC" and I was like "I'M THE ONLY MEDIC, CHANGE CLASSES GUYS"

A thread by the same guy who released all the Heavy info, posted on Steam Forums saying the next update will be Spy & Sniper and was later deleted for leaking info. Since this makes sense given their previous update chain (Support Medic, Offense Pyro, Defense Heavy), they will probably do the next 2 updates with 2 classes at the same time.

Given their chain order, if this info is correct, that makes the next 3 class updates the following:
Spy & Sniper
Scout & Soldier
Engineer & Demoman

This is a pretty good pairing tbh, since the Demoman update will DEFINITELY make the Engineer one not so bad. Picture what an Engie update by itself would be like for ENGINEER WEEK. Two weeks of nothing but 24/32 man SENTRY GUNS EVERYWHERE.

I hope this is right because each of those pairings seem to be pretty good for a release update and won't be as bad as ONE CLASS being horded and the occasional guy trying to counter them all.

the next update is still like a month away though considering how they've spent a lot of time helping the L4D crew instead of making the update.

I was hoping spy would be up for next update, I've been waiting a long time to see him playable as a class again. The scout should still be a single class update though, because there will be a flood of scout players for the first 15 minutes until people realize the class actually takes skill and dedication to play well
