Am I the only one who is SO BORED of this game? When I first started everything was fun as hell, but really everything is the same with exception of BADLANDS. I got all the achievements, the game play is really getting old with me, what else is there to do?

Really mix it up with the classes, try new tactics with them that you haven't done before or at least haven't done often. Some of these guys like jester get bored of regular gameplay so they use mods like jetpacks and wacky maps to mix things up.

I find it pretty hard to get bored of a game in which every time it's different and likely as not against people you've never played before.

Sure the MECHANICS are the same... that's what lets you get better at it.

for the best experience, convince some of your friends to play on a pubby with you. best of both worlds.

Where the fuck are the medic achievements

Open up the case and check that the fans are spinning properly, and have an unobstructed path to your video card. Maybe even clean up the dust if theres enough of it. If one of the fans is dead/dying, or you got a spare spot for an intake/exaust fan, pick one up at best buy or circuit city or a similar store for about $5. If even THAT doesn't work, you may want to try underclocking it a bit just to avoid the shutdowns.

Well...  I would try that out, except it's a laptop.  I do know a little about the insides of a computer, except not on a laptop, plus I don't want to void the warranty.  I could do it easily on a desktop though (that is, I'd ask my brother...  he wont touch my laptop...)

I work Sundays now so no more Sunday Sunday Sunday for me.

Honestly, just leave steam on, it will inform you of who is playing or not. I usually end up playing with Rowain a fair amount, although he hates all the maps I play, and I'm constantly seeing other people pop on. Just add all the GWers to your steam friendlist, hop on when they are playing, and maybe get to know them better and have a few games with them.

do you guys still do this TF2 sundays because I just got the orange box and I do not trust dx

i play this game with 512 ram and 128 video memory with shitty graphics but a playable framerate

Ok, I have over recommended specs for this but i'm wondering how glitchy this will be

specs:

Intel Celeron 2.80Ghz
1270MB RAM
DX9 (duh)
Geforce 5600GT 256mb pci graphics card
and a 10mbs dsl internet connection


I think thats all?  how will the game run?

I dunno man, that's a PCI card. If you can at least play Half Life 2 on the lowest settings at playable frames, you should be fine.
But I dunno...a PCI graphics card...
