hey, my RN is John. i'm a long time visitor of GW i just never joined the forums because i usually don't post. i've changed my outlook on forums since, and now i'm ready to join the community as a whole. i recognize GW as the site that got me connected to my first VG dev love, RM2k.
I've been making indie projects for several years, now. I made the emo flop "Emotion Trigger" a while back. I know it sucked, I'm quite comfortable saying that... lol. It was my first real game. I spent only a few hours designing it, too, before I released it. -,- It was an embarrassing moment for me, personally, but I've learned a lot from it and thanks to all those that e-mailed me with design issues and flaws, ect. I never recieved any hate mail, so I'm quite thankful for GW's objective and supporting community.
Since then, I've worked on a few minor projects and just never finished them, so I may release them all in a "collection" of sorts to share with everyone. They're not really anything special, just a few cinematics of 'epic' storylines I've developed. I'm more of a writer than a programmer or a game maker in general, and I'm far from being an exquisite artist, tho I do handle pose edits of charsets that I need.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll get to know everyone in time, and I'm definitely looking forward to joining the community as a major developer.
One minor thing, though: please don't ask for demos of ET, since it's conception I've somehow managed to lose it. I was involved in a fatal computer crash that killed many of my favorite projects 2-3 years ago, so I only have the games developed after that. I understand that seeing someone's first game is quite interesting, and I just wish I still had it to share. It was quite a laughable game...
This has been a short about me, and expose of my history. I'm glad to finally join the forum community!
