Every once a month, some gamers go through PMS, Puzzle Manic State. The only cure is to play a good puzzle game of some sort.

If you could, I would ask for some recommendations of some good puzzle games, preferably free at this time of my budget, however if there is a REALLY good one out for the following below, I might buy it:

PC
PSX
Gamecube is dead
Nintendo Wiinis
Nintendo DS
Gameboy Advance
-or-
Emulation from 3rd Generation of Video Games (1983 - 1992) to the very beginning of the 6th (1998 - 2006).

No I will not play Magnavox Odyssey again!

By the way, I'm looking for something like the last one I played... Pokemon Puzzle Challenge for GBC, which was an actual good spin-off.

I've been playing Puzzle Quest on the 360 for a few months on and off myself. Well worth it. The cost for the full version is 800 MS points which is the same as $10. And it's a full length rpg.
Peace and Love

If you haven't tried it yet, Planet Puzzle League is a pretty nice puzzle game for the DS.  Either that, or go for Prof. Layton and the Curious Village.  I've yet to hear a bad thing about it, which makes it even more odd why I don't have it yet, but I've got a backlog of my own to worry about.

I don't play many puzzle games, but I hear about Planet Puzzle League all the time as being pretty much the best puzzle game ever.  So yeah try that if you haven't.

Dude other regions have like 27367232834 times as much stuff on the Playstation Store and I'd actually bet that it will never come stateside as it's been well-established the Playstation Store in the US sucks balls and will always suck balls.
