Not that all those attacks missing changed anything...

Did you know that using Game and Watch's Up-Air attack against a flying character (haven't tested on all characters), actually pushes them up into the air like wind blowing a sail?

My friend discovered this while trying to counter my Meta Knight's slashes from above.
It's really effective and annoys the shit out of me.

Yes, I do.  If you watch the fourth video, you'll see me eventually toss one of Link's bombs into oblivion with that very move.  It's handy, to say the least.

Yeah... when I first got the game, I thought Ike sucked at recovering, but now I realize his recovery is actually annoyingly good when used right.

Once he starts up Aether, you pretty much can't edgeguard him... he's got infinite knockback resistance during the animation, and if you even get near him while it's happening, you'll probably just get nailed by his sword.

His horizontal recovery is easier to counter though... so I guess it's better to knock him up and off.  And if you can manage to knock him far away from the stage AND below it, he's pretty much screwed.  But this, I've found, is difficult.

His horizontal recovery can be gimped pretty easily. Run out after him when you knock him out and get in the way of his side-B. He'll hit you and do some damage, but he'll fall down without gaining any more horizontal distance. Very good for keeping him away.

Unless of course you have over 100% damage...

Timing has to be perfect but I've been doing like easy K.Os. online at like 40%

Try his back air, it's more powerful. Though, it's not a spike, so...

Yea, I know about his back air. The only problem I have with it is that if im not doing a 1v1 ill usually get hit from the front for the 1-2 second vulnerability.

And plus the down+a is just a rediculously powerful spike.

I finally had a Sheik ditto match today!  Nobody else seems to use Sheik... finally found someone on the Smash board who did.  And I won!  Woo.

I wanna brawl more Sheiks to see how my own stacks up.  ATTN: Sarhan.

EDIT:  I just found out about a Brawl tournament happening pretty close to me on Sunday that I think KoreanDJ (an SSBM pro, as I'm sure many of you already know) will be attending.  He's already entered and, unsurprisingly, dominated a few Brawl tournaments around Boston.  It'd be cool to get a chance to face him even though he'll whoop my ass.  Maybe at least I could get a friendly match with him though... and see how a pro handles Sheik.

I just hope I can wake up early enough to make it there, and I'm not too hung over.

I'm still trying to get a feel for all the characters.  My main might be G&W, but the whole cast will be my forte (eventually).  More preactice needed...

Meta Knight is probably my best/second best. I used him at a tourney the other day and got to semi-finals with him before switching to Marth and losing to a Pit player.

I haven't been playing Brawl much lately (around 2 weeks now) but I'll try to be online later tonight if anyone wants to play. We can do some Sheik dittos if you want, Yoshi.
