Nintendo should've anticipated this activity. Even at the buttcrack of dawn there are so many people its impossible to play.

Well as far as I know actually there is no server-side hosting like there is with XBox Live titles for this game.  The matches are hosted by the person playing them.  The problem is with bad netcode and has nothing to do with clogged servers as there are not servers.  It's set up like older online games like Diablo were.

Anyways, is JohnnyCasil the only dude who added me back, or is the wi-fi service just being slow? Does it only register when both players are online or something? I'm tired of playing randoms with people who are almost certainly torrenting animes at 300kbps in the background

Want to know the funny thing? You can actually change it in the music settings.

Oh, and halibabica, fun fight the other day. I sucked HARD though. I kept doing stupid stuff like jumping off the edge.

Yea that was my lagged squirtle so timing delayed attacks while rising in midair was pretty tough. Your Marth's got skills homes.

Damnit, mkk, right after I spent a half-hour putting in everyone else's!

Also I just played 3 friends a ways away from me, but aside from about 15 seconds of super lag, the rest of the games were flawless. No input lag or anything. Hopefully this stuff won't affect the tournament!

I don't know why people say there's lag. I haven't had any. I had lag for like... 2 seconds against someone near the end of a fight, but it was VERY brief and didn't impact game performance much. Other than that, out of the 12+ games I've played, I haven't really had lag at all.

Maybe some people are downloading large files or doing things that would cause it?

I played this today but only as Luigi and ROB and I kicked everyone's ass because Luigi's final smash is the greatest thing in the world.
