Man, you need to stop doing Sonic's spin move all the time, it's the most laggy online scrub bullshit ever, my boyfriend and Wak were laughing their asses off next to me watching you play. It was funny as hell when I was playing Snake too because I was one the phone and had to play with one hand actually.

The problem I have though is I can't really stop doing Sonic's spin move since three of his specials are his spin move... I mean, isn't the point to Sonic to be very fast and use his specials as much as often (given that his neutrals are pretty weak)? Do other people have a problem with me? I try not to reuse the same moves all the time, but with Sonic, 3 out of his 4 specials look almost identical, and I'm not just going to stop using them because one person has a problem with them. Besides, I'd love to be able to attack straight up head-on, but with Sonic being so weak that's just not an option. IMO, his only play style is to be fast, and attack with spins that lead into aerials..

I can see people banning certain exploits and stages, and items as well, but to ban certain simple moves? That's just taking it too hard IMO. Over-reliance on a certain move should allow you to be able to counter it pretty easily since a noticeable pattern emerges, so I don't see the reason for complaining. If it's the lag factor then I am truly sorry because I had no idea - every match that I played with you has been lag-free for me.

Don't really worry about it Mat, just do whatever you can do to win, that's all that matters. What Raziel is (probably) refering to, is the fact that online, with lag (assuming he had some), you're generally better off doing more riskier moves than you are offline, since it becomes harder and harder to react correctly to them, making the riskier (and usually, better) moves safer. I'm sure in even minor lag fighting a super fast char spinning all over the place is probably annoying, and when Raziel gets annoyed he's gonna let you know it.

You learn to just not let it bother you too much tho.

idk sonic's d-air is pretty effective if used right, but it has mondo recovery time.  can you l-cancel that shit?  i never really understood how l-canceling works (probably because I never bother looking into anything since I don't play often enough)
