DS games always look so bad, though.

DS games always look so bad, though.

Well a few look okay but generally those are the ones without 3D/without a lot of 3D.  Etrian Odyssey for example looked pretty sharp and any full 2D game can always be sprited well.  But yeah the 3D hardware on that handheld is just garbage and they should seriously not even try.  All the reviews say this game looks at least sort of presentable though so give it a chance man.

true, but there are some games that people acually try to make look good. Games like mario 64 DS was really spectacular. Also, another game called "Dementium:The Ward" was impressive due to the fact that it ran on 60 fps which is impressive(gameplay was....ok...)

all in all, some games can strive to look good on the DS and suceed.

This one doesn't though. I was quite shocked at how good it looks - they use pre-rendered backgrounds which allow them to beef up the looks of everything else. And when they don't, it looks better than any PSone game I can think of. Definitely the best-looking DS game i've seen so far.
