I've been following this show. It's entertaining, has cool characters (Neuro especially), good music and looks nice, though it looks a little cheap compared with other stuff Madhouse has made. What I dislike about the series is how they actually handle the mysteries. They make them look so obvious that it just fails at being a mystery series. The best episodes are the more serious ones (the show really is about humour despite having disturbing scenes), like for example episode 7. This is probably why the author calls it an entertainment series wearing the guise of a mystery. I would really like if the mysteries would be handled like other shows (Veronica Mars for example).

I heard that the plot (and maybe mysteries) is much better in the manga since the anime leaves a lot out. The manga's art really isn't all that great though (the anime improves that by making the art more angular and alive). I think the author can actually draw well but isn't really trying that hard.

Neuro's great though!
