I used to get annoyed, because to me kaworu is who I was 2003-2005, so it'll always have that negative effect on me. I only changed it back because everyone carried on calling me it, and so there was really no point having a namechange. I personally don't like it, but I honestly don't give a shit anymore (I also really dislike my real name and loved that for my time at sixthform I'd had a nickname, because Monkey is such a better name than Wayne.)
I generally keep to calling people by their current names, unless it's a lot longer than their old one (like treg or mog), but I really don't like using names for some reason, so it's he, or she, or they, or that guy there etc.

Ocean's cool, I'm pretty gay because I was designing monsters for his game if I recall, just before I left GW last september, so I only ended up doing a few before randomly abandoning it.

Always been DragonSlayer here, though I have sometimes considered changing my nick because it's so fucking baaaad. Most people call me DS anyway.

I usually tend to be aware of who is who, so I haven't been surprised by new nicks... yet.

Haha, this exactly. This stuff is confusing, some members are easier to keep track of, but it always gets ridiculous.

I used to be Master Mog, now I'm Grogrog. Fantastic huh? I changed my name because I realized Master Mog was gay. The rare times I log into irc, some people still call me MM, and I don't really care. :p

I was born a ramirez and I still am ramirez. But seriously I don't like name changes because it can seriously be confusing when dozens of people do it. There were a few people who posted in this very thread and I didn't know were the same people as the older names they used.

I'd have posted here sooner but I was at work and didn't have a chance to. Yeah, I've been around since 05, but mainly in the game making sections. I should probably be less lazy and post more in General instead of just lurking.

As for past login names, I've pretty much always been Ocean's Dream. There was a month or so that I had Ocean instead, but then I changed it back.

I use to go by bloodbath but I it makes me sound metal or hardcore and I'm pretty much not. Oh and ATARI but it wasn't actually ATARI it was a change he had been using.

I have always used Kaempfer here despite it being a shitty name. I would probably choose "hat" if I was just creating a name, now, as it's my name in Day of Defeat and it's a lot better than Kaempfer. I don't want to change it, though, because nobody every addresses me anyways so I may as well avoid the confusion.

I used to go by StormDragoon on IRC when I was 14 or so. I was going to change my name to RuneLancer back then because some other IRC user had it and left (and I liked it) but I never got around to it. When I realized that was gay, I changed my name to Diode (WHY?) perhaps because it was the first thing I saw when I decided I needed a new name! Then I changed my name to Kampfer and eventually I fixed the spelling to Kaempfer (it's a German word).

Pretty much everyone I knew from IRC way back (I still talk to them from time to time, albeit very rarely) calls me SD, but I don't think anyone here at GW was active in #rpgmaker at sorcery.net.

Strangely, after I started hanging out in IRC I am pretty sure every asked me if I had changed my name, so I guess I reminded them of someone. I don't know who this mysterious man is, though.
