I was under the impression that nobody cared about small town America, anyway.

As nice as it would be to experience a Democratic presidential term right about now, I also agree that McCain probably has a strong chance at winning the race. America just seems more Republican right now.
That said, I know that America wants an aggresive president (Lord knows why, we already seem
too aggressive), and that they pushed on Clinton for being a "flip-flopper", but she really seems way too aggressive for my tastes right now. While Obama seems to be more passive to me (or, at least, more composed), every time I see Clinton on television she always seems to be stirring something up. Granted, Obama's had his share of messes, too, but at the very least I get a more positive feel about his personality. It may just be the media showing Clinton in a bad light, but she still feels off, to me.
Al Gore and Jimmy Carter joining forces for Obama would be crazy. It'd be interesting if it actually happened.
