I know it's old, but I think it is a very good game. I have a few questions here that I need an answer to.

1. When I reset sometimes, I go back to the middle of the road, but I can't move. I am bashing on the up key and I just sit there making an engine noise. Why can't I move?

2.  How can I make sharp turns? I always try to earn a little earlier but once I make the sharpest turn possible, I always end up turning too late and bashing into a tree or something, then I can't move and I reset and then Question #1 happens and I get busted. =(
WHAT FF CHARACTERS AM I? WELL LETS TAKE A LOOK!!!

I doubt lots people are going to be able to answer you.

If I had ever encountered these though I would.

Cause I had NFS3 on PC long ago. That was neat.

1) You're not in neutral, are you?  Try shifting up.
2) Slow down.

1. What M-O-W said
2. Powerslide -- Use the handbrake (spacebar is default IIRC), when you turn.  Or let off the gas, you'll usually turn easier

There's a few tactics for turning that work on most driving games, one is to tap the gas so you still have speed, but aren't maxxing it at the turn, the other is to try the opposite with the break, tapping it just enough to get you that tighter turning curve. You can try for the middle method and just use a certain amount of coast time, but you'll usually have to do some break/gas tapping to compensate until you learn that turn by heart.
