So has anyone seen this new anime yet? Apparently it is new, anyway. There is little info on ANN about it, but it seems the first two episodes are out, or rather, that's all I could find subbed.

I can't really explain it other than to say it seems to be created by a guy who watched The Matrix too many times and contains artwork and animation like you would find in a children's book. The first episode consists of the main character -- who may or may not have lost his memories -- waking up on a strange world...and I do mean strange...and making his way towards...uh...who knows what, being assisted by equally strange people and being immersed in a world straight out of somebody's very odd imagination. Meanwhile in teh second episode it appears that the girl in pink was just tricking the main character into putting his mind into something else so she could use his body for sex.

So it was pretty amazing and you should go check out the first episode at least.

I'm glad someone made a topic about this (too lazy to make one myself). The director of the series, Masaaki Yuasa, was also the director of the movie Mind Game and the series Kemonozume.

I only watched the first episode and thought it was pretty cool. The series just feels very different from everything else, probably due to the animation, art style, music... I really like the music, especially the ending theme (I also like the animation for it).

So yeah, people should at least give the first episode a shot.

So yeah this show is pretty great, but it seems its not be subbed any more. I know there are still more episodes(i've seen raws for episode 7) but the subs stopped at episode 4 for some reason.  As far I know it hasn't been licensed, so does anyone know why the subs have stopped? I hope it they are just lagging behind, because if it stopped because of lack of interest, that would just be absolutely horrible.

ffff I wasn't really planning on watching this but that little blurb made it sound kind of interesting and CHILDREN'S STORYBOOK AESTHETIC is also pretty cool so i'll give it a shot!

as luck would have it, episode 5 subs just came out today, so i guess i was worried for nothing.
This topic really needed a bump anyways, espically compared to most of the other anime topics in this forum
